Panera coffee for me! I drink it black.

If you want to make excellent coffee you have to get an Aeropress. Its a combo between a french press and an espresso maker. It was invented by the dude who invented that orange ring like frisbee that can be thrown 200 yards. You can get the press for about $25 buck. It makes folgers taste good.

Good old Dunkin Donuts black coffee is my favorite when I have a choice. It reminds me of hanging out with my Grandpa while he was on break. Yeah he was a cop and he loved doughnuts!

Lol. Seeing a cop in a donut shop always makes me laugh. I don't know why I get such s kick out if it.

I'll have to try some Panera. A guy I work with suggested blue mountain or something.

Probably Green Mountain. Its very good too. My bagged coffee for home is usually 8 o'clock brand. You cam get it at most grocery stores and wally world

I don't know, he said something about mountain goats pooping the coffee beans out, I lost lost interest in it immediately. But who knows maybe you guys would wanna try it. He says its his favorite but I don't know I could get past the first fact maybe its cause I know it now! lol Some peoples kids.

It doesn't hurt that they are also a bike shop and on my bike commute home... I think the thing they can do that I can't seem to, is brew a consistent product with more punch. somehow they seem to squeeze more of the coffeeness outta the beans....
Bikes and coffee? Never heard of that combination before, but I'm glad it works! Seth (owner of the coffee place) told me the biggest differences between home and a shop are water temperature and the way the beans are ground. He said his coffee grinder at home which only cost $300 doesn't grind as evenly as the $1000 grinder in his store.

Very cool memory. I do enjoy Dunkin dark roast. I think the amount of cookie dough iced coffees I had from there a few summers ago probably took a few years off of my arteries. Worth it.

Now I want to look into an aeropress! Really though I keep it simple and dirty with my 4 cup Mr. Coffee at home and live the highlife a few times a month at the cafe.

8 o'clock is good. Seattle's Best has been growing on me. There is a brand from Minnesota my neighbor to the west that is pretty great for the price.

I laughed like a lunatic when I read that!!!!!
I thought I heard something like that about super high end chocolate where the cacao beans were magically conditioned in the intestines of some animal and then harvested to charge Americans lots and lots of money. Doesn't sound appealing, but I can't slam it unless I've tried it, right? Well maybe in this case I can :D

I think someone is yanking your lariat. Although I could be wrong and the goats just add a little kick

Nice! I have never had the dark italian espresso roast before. I made a grave mistake... I forgot to buy coffee and I am currently stuck in my house in the biggest blizzard to hit the mid-atlantic in my lifetime... At least I have hot tea to keep the caffiene junky headache away.

Wow Riz, that is serious snow. Sorry to hear about the coffee situation! What kind of tea are you running today? (Yes I'm trying to make tea sound tactical)

Whooo lots to address here... Not gonna try mountain goat poop coffee... not gonna happen haha. Been riding out the storm so far with irish black iced sweet tea... see below:

Also The dog was having fun in the snow:

until he got stuck and I had to carry him...

Riz, A co-worker has the aeropress and I agree, makes a hell of a cup, in fact I might get motivated via cabin fever to order one right now... I hope your wife didn't get stuck at the hospital!

She went in last night and has been there all day today, will be there all night tonight and all day tomorrow. They had people not make it in this morning. Personally I think they all should have gone in last night. The hospital blocked off rooms for all the nurses to stay and paid them $8.00 an hour just to be there when they werent actually working. When their shift starts they are all getting time and a half. It sucks to be stuck here with a 6 yo, 4 yo and 5 month old baby but, wifey is making buku bucks. She thinks that she is gonna get home tomorrow, but as far as I can tell they arent even plowing around here. The snow is almost 3 feet deep in the middle of the street in my neighborhood. The highway might be clear, but she wont get into the neighborhood for sure.

They'll be holding doggie snow-swimming competitions out there next. We have them up here on heavy snow years ;)

Yea the wife went in friday at 9 am and will likely be there until sunday evening or monday...the money is no joke, but if we had three kids that would be tough!

Lando could use a few lessons in that, he was really excited until he got stuck then he just looked at me with that "f-this" face. Definitely not as hardy as a hunting dog!

Holy crap you all got hit hard!
It's 61 degrees and sunny out here.

haha, it's a nice change of pace every now and again... apparently my area is either in the 2nd worse or tied for worst snow fall ever... closer to the city didnt get as much, there was a lot of banding and thus some crazy snowfalls in narrow areas. I think I am somewhere between 24-30, hard to tell with the drifts. How are you fairing NW Riz?? I heard that area got hit even harder!
