Wow nice collection!!

Forte, that is seriously awesome. Artistic pic and great collection. I love seeing that peened finish. Niiiiiiice!

The tumbled fasteners look great with the darker handle for contrast.

Man I'm ready for some new steel to arrive!! :)

ETA: I had to go back and look mine up. It's camo canvas scales, tumbled fasteners, and FDE sheath. Cant wait!

Give it time to ship... It happened. I'm also one Necker2 lighter than I was. I am going to see about trading for a 6, 7/7, and 10. Gotta round out that collection.

Sorry, I didn't even think about that. Congratulations. I would like to see pics when you get it though.

Oh, by the way, Fantastic collection!

Here they are... All 4 of my 4.1s. The ones on the left are my users, one in 3V, one in 20cv. The two on the right are both unused CPM-3V and are going to be "adopted" one day in exchange for one of the models I don't have (6, 7/7, 10).

I'm a complete tea snob and I'm getting almost as bad with coffee. My favorite coffee shop is in a neighboring town, and they just opened a drive up branch in my city right next to where I work. Notice the wording on the sign?

Their coffee is THE best I've ever had. They control every step of the process and have really high standards. They work with one bean supplier and use only freshly roasted beans. They toss what they don't use after they're a week old. It takes longer to get your cup of coffee because they make it once you order. They grind the beans for each cup of coffee and measure the beans and water by weight. They use a special pour over technique instead of a percolator machine. It is cheaper and faster to go to a big chain, but the quality at my place can't be beat. Reminds me of a certain knife company.

Just making connections, people. Just making connections.

The wife likes coffee shop coffees and lattes I just assume to drink Folger's, I love their 'breakfast blend' I guess the coffee shop typically turns me off just cause of the prices. I'm a cheap skate. If I can brew a whole pot for less then 50¢ why waste my time money and gas for a $6 cup. (Were also at least a half hour to the closest town and 45 minutes to the nearest coffee shop.)

Maybe I just hadn't found the right coffee shop. In college there was a small coffee shop near Baylor that had awesome expressos I'd get any time I was on that side of town. If I made a special trip it was cause I was hung over and needed a boost, which in college was often.

That math totally adds up. I only stop for coffee every other week or so, but once you're into it, you can totally tell the difference. I was hooked on Folger's dark roast back in the day.

I think it is like a lot of things, the first time I had a cheap bourbon, I thought it was pretty great, but once I knew more and tried more I can't turn away from Maker's Mark, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare and Knob Creek. When I was a teenager I thought my knock off Kabar was the best because it looked like a knife with the handle and pointy end :D

man this conversation took a turn i can completely relate to. Not so much a snob of tea and coffee, but very particular. Trying to cut back on less healthy beverages, mainly beer and cola, i switched it up to coffee and tea...for tea i am a strict southern sweet tea guy born and bread and can't shake it. Coffee was a harder sell, but while i have finally managed to get myself into some home brewed black coffee straight up. I will willfully admit it was the local coffee shop that got me into it and i still frequent it. It doesn't hurt that they are also a bike shop and on my bike commute home... I think the thing they can do that I can't seem to, is brew a consistent product with more punch. somehow they seem to squeeze more of the coffeeness outta the beans....

rant over...

Good old Dunkin Donuts black coffee is my favorite when I have a choice. It reminds me of hanging out with my Grandpa while he was on break. Yeah he was a cop and he loved doughnuts!
