The Survive! Never Say Die! Chat Thread

A very nice trip TT

How many of those stalactite did you snap off the cave's walls using the pummel of your GSO? :D

I planned the whole trip without her knowledge. I thought once I told her she would go just to see me cry as I shot across the zip line. She did. :) she even mentioned in one of the videos wow I thought I'd hear his screaming by now. Lol. It definitely makes me want to try more stuff like that.

I only have one question...
Would you do the zip line again?

TT those photos look amazing, that must have been a heck of a trip. I look forward to the wild tour photos from the disposable camera!

Yes! I most certainly would do the zip line again. I want to do the one close to the house now but think we'll be sadly let down cause the view just wouldn't be the same.

As for our disposable cameras I hope they even turn out. Towards the end momma showed me how dirty the front lens was (since I was preoccupied with everything) it was covered in mud. It took three trips through the washer for our cloths to get all the mud out.

Sheshhhhhhhh! The Silver One is after me already and I have a bulls eye on my back, front?

Yes!!
Black scout survival has a good hat design, would love something like that.

I noticed his hats too! Are they US made, though? My first thought when seeing them was: those could work really well for SURVIVE! My second thought was: I wonder if they'd meet Guy's standards?!!

Not sure if they are or not,, but based on my 5.1 I'd be more than happy to get a 'factory seconds' hat :D

They are US made. We were working on a design with them but Guy made a comment about a small concern. He was willing to look past it if it couldn't be helped, but the conversation escalated. So... Guy got fired as a customer there.

That sounds familiar... did this same brand come up before or does Guy have a habit of this? :D

Hat people: I think we could fill that order to your specifications, shall we seal the deal?
Guy: Yeah, except I've noticed some of the stitching is slightly off center and a little loose... could you do something about that?
HP: We're sorry, but that is within our specifications, so you'll just have to live with it
G: Ok, but I really want these to be perfect because I'm sending them to my favorite forum members
HP: I'm sure they're special customers, but as far as stitching goes, you get what you get
G: So you really can't check each individual hat for perfect symmetry and quality before shipping them?
HP: No we can't that's just not how we operate
G: WELL YOU HAVE NO SENSE OF PRIDE IN CRAFTSMANSHIP AND YOUR MOTHER IS AN UGLY PIG!!!!!
*phone hangs up*

Lol. We'd all be turning them inside out trying to find the flaw. "Mine has one slightly crooked stitch on the underside of the tag.....if you pull the tag to one side.....and then look at it sideways."

So there's a dude on IG - bkyoungus - that just made a GSO 5.1 shirt. Was that sanctioned? I know nothing about making shirts, but they can't be far from hats (I mean technically/creatively, not geographically or anatomically...). Anyway, how has this not happened yet?!

Hats just became more important to me cuz I snagged a thread on my best trucker hat this weekend while camping and need a new one. My Gonzaga Bulldogs baseball team hat with a bulldog over o patch the shape of Montana got "ruint" and looks like a pony tail scrunchy. Since I no longer have a mullet, no scrunchy required. Because I do have a little more chorme on my dome, a hat IS required. Let's get this done!
