The Survive! Never Say Die! Chat Thread

Thanks, have owned a lot of knives to finally get one that I like better than my old school 5 but this 4.7 is perfection!

Is it me or does it seem slow around here? Since I've been following S! They released two models-the 5.1 and the 4.7. Seems like quite a few fellas are waiting for their 4.7's yet. 20 days Ellie stated the 2.7's were done and awaiting for Guy but still no sign of them yet. Monday sales are hit and miss-mostly miss though. I wish some new models would start getting completed so we can have something to talk about.

There were a couple messages that June was going to be a slow month as there were some personal things for Guy and Ellie both. Not too slow though obviously, judging by the shipping notices yesterday.

Yep, the highs and lows of the knife world. We're in a lull this month. There were a bunch of 4.7s that just shipped so I imagine there'll be some posts in the near future though, and we'll be back on a high :)

I guess it's ok. I'm barely staying afloat with how busy work has been and then weekends has me working on my building getting ready for hunting season. Common 2.7!!

Can't remember if I asked, jon.....did you put in for/get any draw tags? We won't know here until July 5th or so.

I didn't this year. I have 7 points for elk in WY. Next year I'll apply for the tag. My one buddy is begging to go to ND for ducks and pheasant and it's been a couple years since I've been there too. This year I'll stick home and chase my whitetails.

Nothing wrong with that. I really miss the whitetail hunting in NW Montana, and being able to take one right out the back door. I shoot more muledeer than whitetail now because that's what we have here without a multi-day trip, but I'm a whitetail hunter at heart.

I really don't like that the State puts our draw results out so late in the year, but we just have to wait and see if anyone gets a really good tag and then work around that. I put in for some hunts that I don't usually, so it could be a wild year if some of those come through.

I'd like to hear what you draw for. If I can't do it then at least I can live through someone else.

I didn't take any lately. Mudded drywall would be pretty boring[emoji3]

Hahaha that's one of my favorite parts of a home build! I went from being a framer straight to working for a custom home builder and it's still fun to watch a structure come to life.
Garages and Workspaces are still my favorite though. My favorite was a 2800sqft 2 story garage that we built for a car collector out here. That place had a full bathroom and TV room built in with glass walls so he could stare at his toys while sitting in the AC. Lucky Bastard.

^Sounds very cool. I'll bet it was pretty neat to be involved in something out of the ordinary like that.

You got it bud. I don't know what's going to shake out of the bushes but there'll be something to chase somewhere.

I'll have a full bathroom and from my tv room I'm hoping to watch some whitetails through glass windows. Not the same but that's my thing👍
If I took a pic of my mudding skills (or lack there of) I'd be the laughing stock of S!

That'll be awesome!
Mudding is one of those things that takes a lot of time and practice. I still hate having to do it.

Ever have a dream about something somewhat realistic and you wake up and it feels very real?

I had a dream last night where we learned that our Psybull passed away and we were all working to make a collection to send to his family.

WTF?! Am I spending too much time online that the forum is seeping into my dreams?!!

Dang Silver! I am not in the grave yet but the thought is appreciated-

Not sure what would have triggered that! As morbid as it is, we were all very sad. At least you know we love ya!

Maybe it's an indication I should not be eating sriracha cheez its before bed.....

That's like when I chow down on pizza late at night then crash, all kind of crazy dreams.
I have to many preorders to give up the ghost anyways-LOL.
The desire to get some of that Delta 3v goodness in hand will keep me going for a good long time to come!
