Lol. I don't think there is a choice but I believe it's in the left hand scale if I'm not mistaken. All that said and you got no answer I know, maybe ellie will catch the question and can give a definitive answer.
All my bow drill divots were on the left side, which is why I hated them, because I am right handed and my fingertips fell into them. However, they are being phased out, so you are best to order ASAP, as you may not be able to get one at all otherwise.
I just cleared up 12% of my phone's memory just deleting knife pics. Crazy.

Well done Grogie. When's the starter presale program?
Look at it this way, no one is going to pip you at the post when you make your own!
But seriously and all kidding aside, again well done Sir  I'll be lucky not to break my knives, never mind making my own!
I can't rake the yard without nearly killing my little death magnet (toddler). I can't imagine doing something like this for years!
I would love to follow your progress though.
Hah, I'm not in danger of needing a starter program any time soon. The knives are mostly for fun, I think I've got a better grasp on the sheath making. Good point though, I don't have to break my f5 key to get in on a sales thread if I make it myself
A toddler's a bit young to learn the finer points of knife making safety I suppose. My oldest nephew (15) wants to start on a knife and sheath project for next year's county fair, that'll be a fun thing to do with him. He was actually pretty quick to get through the fantasy type knife drawings and has a pretty fair design started. My knife making progress isn't really progressing. This will be 6 knives in 2 or 3 years I think. Lol. It's a fun thing to mess around with though.
That's sheath is yours too right? I seen another similar tool work, I thought you had done. And was that a nessmuk blade under all that tape. Do share when your done.
Sounds exciting regardless. A fun project and great memories!
