The Survive! Never Say Die! Chat Thread

Any PBR fans? We watched JB Mauney ride to a 92.5 on Stone Sober in Nampa last night.

I've always wanted to go see a rodeo but something always pops up when they come to Milwaukee.

It is a 25-second log exposure before sunrise. The snow really made for a great photography morning.

Yes, I do sell photos, sell wall calendars, give lessons, provide workshops etc. I went full time with this back in April because I could no longer do this AND have a full time job, too. :) I spend a lot of time camping for this so it is always a good idea to have some awesome knives with you.

Sweet! Man I love that long exposure.. Isn't it amazing how ethereal the look is with long exposures?

How do you like your 5dR? (I do product photography). Was going to upgrade from my mark3 to a m4 but was disappointed with the lack of practical 4k video. I have read that the 5dr has much less shadow banding then the mark3 and I would drool at that insane detail of 50mp.. (wow).

Highest scoring ride I've gotten to see when I was actually at an event. We were hoping to go to Vegas for the finals this year but doesn't look like that's going to happen.

8 hours after transcribing the pattern. I don't know how guys kick these out for a living. Will be a 4.7 sheath if it doesn't suck. Yggdrasil Jr. I'm thinking.

Cool! For one thing they pros have dies to cut their patterns so the overall shape of the sheath is consistent. I have amade a few sheathes. For me the welt is the most difficult part

Dies! Wtf!:D I find it easy to accomodate the welt as long as I just plan a flat 1/2" at least all the way around. I had a hard time planning the welt ending until I realized I was getting uselessly fancy with it.

I don't have this thing done to get a 4.7 snuggled up in it, I'm pretty anal about my pattern making though. I wouldn't say I have faith, that has a different meaning to me, but I have hope that once this whole marathon is done a 4.7 will fit in happily here.
