Put all three in my pocket today, just for fun. The peanut is a Hammer from my early childhood, the PAL has a Remington master blade and the other is a Voos jack. Happy sunday folks.

Best regards

Robin

Iphone really messed with this one, but the UN-X-LD can be seen a top of the ladies saddle.

I need some Root Beer now!! Is that a cleaver? It looks very interesting.

Refreshing direction for GEC;) the tool it's sitting on is an Elwell billhook known as a Kentish pattern which was a very popular type (there are many over here...).

This pic shows it better, they are becoming rare and sought after for practical work as the steel is far superior than the modern versions. Difficult to date but I picked this one for the obvious forging hammer marks putting it between 60-80 years old. I use mine for coppicing and hedge-laying during work and bushcrafting on the weekend:)

Very interesting to me and thank you for the picture! I collected this picture of billhook patterns a while back. You have me wanting to research this further. Too bad I can't come hang out with you for a few days:D Thank you again Sam.

Definitely a Traditional Pattern and your piece is stunning. I will save your pic in my files.
