The TRADITIONAL sunday picture show!!!!

Ed, where haven't you lived???

I've lived in a lot of places here in the U.S.A. and abroad. I've been to many many places. The Navy took me and sent me all over the world and since I retired from the Navy 23-years ago I've lived and visited a lot of places.

Anyway, we ought to get this thread back on topic.

I would love to hear more. Maybe you could tell us about some of your travels over in Carl's place? Ahem, back on topic I go.

Traditionals on Sunday :)

Yeah, size is a major factor for me. I just wouldn't carry a camera around if it was much bigger than the S95. As it is, sometimes I just go with the iPhone and call it a day

HAHA nope not me, this is in the clothing required half of the beach, I've never actually been to the other half

I hear you Vic. 90 percent of the pics I post online are taken with my cell phone. Bulky gets old on a day to day basis.

One more off kilter remark. IB is down in my neck of the woods. I live in the part of the city of San Diego which is actually South of Chula Vista. It is marked on some maps as Palm City.

Dang Frank - I used to live just up the street from you. Palm Ave. to Piccard, turn right, first left on Coleman Ave. and 1st house on the corner on the right of Coleman and Piccard. Ain't it a small world?

Hey guys,
First day back in Spain after a wonderful honeymoon trip.
Have a good Sunday all of you

Just bumming around the house today getting a few things done. Thought I'd take a moment and dig my mini trappers out and take a pic.

Finedges, Nice images. I'm curious. Who made the fixed blade? Could you post some details about it? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Gary. It is a full tang knife made of W2 steel, clay finished showing a nice hamon(which I did a poor job of capturing). It was made by Matt Bailey, who is a member here at Bladeforums. He occasionally has one listed on the exchange here in the fixed blade section. This one caught my eye with the raw flats and the jigged bone handles. He makes his own sheaths as well.

Awesome Remington!

Good old Case Swayback Jack for a Sunday:

Boker rosewood pen riding in my watch pocket, and I still haven't taken a pic yet.

Have a great Sunday all!

Cheers,
Griff

The picture of the mini-trappers and the amber bone thread are convincing me of getting a trapper in amber bone. Here is my XX slim trapper helping with breakfast.

I am carrying this one today as well, as it where. Great knife!

My son was visiting from college this weekend, so I thought I should take a few father/son peanut pictures before he returns to the other end of the state with his yeller 'nut.
