Oh yeah, WICKED! BUT, the blade orientation should be flipped 180 degrees.
I prefer it as is personally. Pikal style blades are just easier to use for people with no training (I do but most everyone else doesn't). The motion you employ during use is natural.. especially if your being attacked. Look up a few videos on them. Super useful as a self defense blade. Gross motor skills (pikal) vs Fine motor skills (karambit)

I'd be interested in a close up or two of the edge to show the angle and thickness, on both sides (one of the earlier photos looked like the top edge didn't go all the way to the tip).

0.21" stock and a narrow primary grind means it's going to need a pretty fine edge if it's going to cut, and it would be very difficult to reprofile this knife for the average Joe (at least without making a hog's ear of it).

Good eye! . . . . That geometry fix was part of the tweaking I referred to earlier and the main reason for the delay in getting this bad boy finished and ready for market.

Although it doesn't look dramatically different, it is VERY different as can be seen in the final pics.

The prototype edge could not be easily sharpened all the way to the tip.

If you look closely you can see that the edge falls short of the tip by approx 3/4 of an inch.

In the final pic you can see a nice thin edge all the way to the point.

I'd like to say that it was an easy fix but it required all new programs, all new fixtures and set-up, along with 2 kegs of beer and several bottles of bourbon, scotch, and Irish Whisky!!!!

Sometimes, I just don't think you HOGs understand the amount of drinking that I do for you!

I give, I give. . . . it's what I do!

Let's Drink!
