The ultimate kit is coming...

Looks like I'll finally be buying my first RAT product when this comes out! Very, very cool, and it'll match my Desert MOLLE rucksack perfectly!

this is definitely a good reason for me to buy an RC-6 as well...:D this thing is cool...

sweet ... I want one ... though this combination would be ... uhm ... both rc-5 and rc-6 are not legal to carry without legal reason, and with rc-6 (which I would prefer) legal reasons that will convince a LEO (who was probably advised to get as many knifes out of the public as he can) are few and far between. So while I'd love that as a part of my car kit, I'd hate losing it.

Well, I got some time to think about it. But it is such a sweet set up - inside me is a little knife nut screaming "want want want"

So this will be available to International customers?
And do you also have plans to ship the rest of your items internationally?

Couldn't the legal reason be as an emergency survival kit (which is what it is)? The presence of the fire kit plus a bunch of other user-supplied goodies and first aid gear would make a pretty convincing case I'm sure. :)

naw, if they pull you over just grab it and run into the woods and hide for a few days.

All the credit on this thing goes to Charlie Morrison of Lost Mountain Ironworks and Mike Perrin. It was Charlie's original idea and Mike tweaked it to fit what we wanted.

sounds good, though I know some LEOs that wouldn't accept that ... but I could put it into a locked container in the trunk.
That would be safest, cause when a german LEO asks you if he can see your warning triangle and your first aid kit, they usually want to catch a glimpse of the contents of your trunk ... (warning triangle and first aid kit have to be in every car, so they can check that)

It's a really cool idea. I can't tell if it's a super-sheath, or a psk with a huge wack of steel in it. And I don't really care. I want one. Man, RP knife, yet to be revealed name of the RC10, this thing, izula scales, incoming 'chete...alot of cool stuff coming fast. I'm gonna just setup a direct deposit to your account every 2 weeks and mail me whatever it is you're making at the time :) Kinda like Columbia House, but instead of Bon Jovi, I get sharp things.

WOW, that is NICE, can't wait to get one when they come out!!!!!!

Perfect kit!

The more I use the RC-6, the more I think it is the "perfect knife". I am sure there are other opinions, but for my uses it is the perfect knife and this will make the "perfect kit".

Thanks

Jeff - this is exactly what I've been waiting for to attached my 6 to my Maxpedition Pack. Would you consider offering it w/o the knife and build the profit directly into the price of the pack? I would think that you'd get some takers due to the usefulness of the thing, and considering the # of RC-5's and 6's in circulation right now.

Now, perhaps if the included knife was non-standard, perhaps with coating or handle changes.....hmmm

..build it and they will come...

Addition: Well it's official now, the wife says I can have one :).
She wants me to get the kit with the RC-5, as a gift from her, that is nice :)
