Personally I think soup bone with an ornate bolster is straying into Rough Rider/Case territory. A ‘collectors edition’.

I own a red soup bone and its ok, there are some other GEC covers that work better, which I would prefer. The rust red sawcut #15 is one such example, but I am still in favour of callico as #1.

I feel like I just need to help you, since you're off your typical message
Did you mean, "gold anodized aluminum covers, with purple and pink glitter pasted on them, engraved with the word, “BladeForums.” "?
:D

Can you believe that most members here would prefer to not have any glitter on their forum knife? I know it is difficult to believe but it is true. I think I will give up my crusade for glitter. :(

IF there is a option for different blades, I've grown quite fond of the fat spear in the 85's. Nicely figured black walnut, fat spear with long pull, maybe matchstrike like the '19 forum knife. You just know they'll eventually do more blade options for the 86!

Ok...so here is the deal...you folks are suckering me in. If this Barlow greatness ends up with red soup bone...I’m in. Son of a...

Might also be in if it gets smooth white covers.
Red soup bone would be a great choice! I tried to get the color right, but the red is deeper and darker than my picture shows, at least on my device.

Certainly agree that Red Soup would be a fine choice.

But can GEC crank out a big order of these or will they want to ? Hope so but it might not be realistic given it's been done on small batches?

Attention everyone...thank you ...settle down at the back there...Can everyone hear me?
Just a quick announcement....
Bill* and Charlie** have been in touch with me and literally pleaded with me to make the scale choice for them as it is getting much too rowdy.....glittery, exotic, working class , traditional , different and yet the same.....etc...also I see the old chestnut raising its ugly head once again...not chestnut bone or wood but that old chestnut " why can't everyone have the exact knife they want with five different blade configurations and 18 different scale choices?"...Well because you can't...I believe it was Henry Ford who paraphrased the philosopher Stone Cold Steve Austins' theory when he said " You can have any colour you want so long as it's black!" Or....in this case Narwhale Blubber Grey Soup Bone....Thank you everyone..back to work now.
