Red soup bone would be a great choice! I tried to get the color right, but the red is deeper and darker than my picture shows, at least on my device.

I prefer wood but dark pink scales wouldn't be so bad.
Just for clarity, if you make pink by mixing red with white then you have essentially light red. Now take pink and remove the white from it and now you have dark pink. :rolleyes:

Charlie, will we get to decide between nickel-silver or steel for the bolsters/liners material? I am in the all-steel camp and will certainly be happy with most wood and bone options being proposed.
 
Honestly any of the natural woods or bones would be fantastic—smooth or sawcut. The black/white ebony, burls and koa all look exceptional!

waynorth waynorth : In the early days I was never able to score any of the copperhead bone. Is that a possibility here, or was that all a product of Culpepper?
