I think Charlie just likes to lord his power over us. :D

I share some things about this knife community with my wife, knowing she'll just think we're a bunch of... 'enthusiasts'... (my word, not hers).
There are other things I don't share because I'm convinced she would think I am legitimately crazy.

You know what option I think we could all get behind though? Smooth Black Camel Bone. Here's why:
  • It's smooth, so it's the perfect worry stone during these troubling times
  • Camel bone is handsome and lasts a long time, just like our fearless and intelligent 2021 BF knife leaders
  • Black is a color of mourning and over the past year or so I'm sure I'm not alone in the fact that I've lost people.
  • the dying will be random and unique, so everyone will get something slightly different.
  • It will go well with our tuxedos
  • It matches well with Steel, Brass or Nickle Silver
  • It's the underdog choice, and who doesn't love a good underdog story?
  • edit: also, 9/10 cats have agreed that they wouldn't bat it off the table.

BONE FOR THOUGHT

I think that we should gawk at the kind of fancy bolster we're talking about wearing some of the smooth ivory/white bone. It looks sooooo good:

If we're talking Sawcut, GEC's Copperhead dye is consistently good. The Old Red they used to use was also stellar, but I haven't seen any red like this from GEC in years.

I think you accidently quoted the wrong post...
It's okay. Mistakes happen.

I like all of those, but the one that really popped* for me was the sawcut copperhead. That looks great and very traditional on a barlow.

*ch-ching with apologies to JohnDF :D
