Based on the mock-ups, not one is a “hard no”....

Bocote is my favorite in wood. Soup bone or white bone are top two for the bone versions. This years knife is going to be sweet!
I actually agree 100% with everything you said. I would add the sucker rod to bocote as my favorite 2 from the wood mockups though.

Thanks for doing the mock-ups; they're fun to look at.

I still want either ivory-bone flat beveled, or caramel brown sawcut (but only if the sawcuts are on a diagonal bias)
Easy to please, I am. ;)

Probably none are a “hard no” here either, based on the mock-ups... but the sawcut Osage is definitely a “least yes” for me. Had the TC version and wasn’t a fan. Any of the smooth woods would be great, as well as the smooth ivory/white bone. Jigged bone looks a little odd on the Barlow pattern to me.

Erm No probably not...but I have heard tell of that mythical sea...Men say tis a wondrous place that calls your soul back to the happy times of infancy ...Some say they have heard of an island....beyond the horizon...where the sand glitters like gold and the streams run with clear blue glittering water...where multi coloured glitterfish can be caught simply by asking them to jump in the boat...but be careful what you wish for !.
It is also said that on this glittering paradise No Knives are Needed and anyone who likes knives...even glittery ones...is sent to the glue works....and nevver seeen or heeaard of aggaiinn.

And because I know someone somewhere is going to ask...here is the glitter gold :)
Not sure I am even going to mock up any other acrylics because it just doesn't look right (even for me!)

That is especially true of the gold glitter mock up! Ohhhhh, so shiny and glittery!

I am in favor of the bone, and I love the jigging on the autumn jigged (top mock up). However I’m really liking the white bone. What about something unique like a jigged white bone? It isn’t totally unprecedented.

Fontenille Pataud does a “needle” jigging that is amazing.

Not a loser in the bunch. Thanks for the mockups!

Who says jigged bone doesn't belong on a Barlow?
I said it looks a little odd on the Barlow pattern, of course meaning the mock-up! I thought that was obvious!:D

Good looking knife there, I have always liked that jigging and color by GEC.
