I actually agree 100% with everything you said. I would add the sucker rod to bocote as my favorite 2 from the wood mockups though.

I still want either ivory-bone flat beveled, or caramel brown sawcut (but only if the sawcuts are on a diagonal bias)

The Red Soup bone is verrry nice, but Honey Amber Sawcut bone would be an absolute Classic! Especially with steel pins and liners...you all know this is what you really want.
Probably none are a “hard no” here either, based on the mock-ups... but the sawcut Osage is definitely a “least yes” for me. Had the TC version and wasn’t a fan. Any of the smooth woods would be great, as well as the smooth ivory/white bone. Jigged bone looks a little odd on the Barlow pattern to me.

I am in favor of the bone, and I love the jigging on the autumn jigged (top mock up). However I’m really liking the white bone. What about something unique like a jigged white bone? It isn’t totally unprecedented.

I was thinking ivory bone but after looking at waverave's mockups and at my 86 knife I think smooth ivory bone would be a whiteout on this big hunk of knife flesh! I personally think the chestnut jigged bone would be very classic and dignified. Isn't that the jigging on the GEC lambsfoot knife?

Good looking knife there, I have always liked that jigging and color by GEC.
