You misunderstood me my friend as I meant it when I said that I really like Elvis gospel albums.
I said it in a jovial way and it was not meant in the way you have portrayed my comments.

Background:
My Dad was a Christian pastor in Argentina … he was not too pleased with Elvis while I was growing up.
Then I immigrated to Canada as an adult, learned English ( very slowly :) ) and one day I "discovered" Elvis gospel albums and like I said … I like them, nothing more to be inferred from my post

too much caffeine this morning, Jake?
I don't see any "cancel culture" here... simply porch regulars wanting to keep the Forum Knife (which is, by definition, 'special' ) as a special knife for porch members, and not flippers. Flippers are only after GEC knives to make a buck here and there... they care nothing for the knives, or the spirit of the forum.... just the bucks.
I also don't understand the dig at Dan... sounds like he was admitting he enjoyed Elvis's gospel albums... how is that a kick at someone else's beliefs?
Let's re-read posts and take a deep breath... come on over and have another cup of coffee and a cigar with me.....

It's all good my friend :thumbsup: I don't think there is anything to be sorry about.
Misunderstandings do happen due to the imperfect way of our printed way of communication and the fact that we, for the most part do not really know each other, but we have to keep trying to get along, especially in these difficult times we are living in.

If we were all gathered together in person conversing things like this would be a non issue.

I like knives, spirited discussions about knives, and other people who like knives. I own and use everything from GEC classics, Lionsteel modern traditionals, customs from some wonderful makers, and even a Benchmade Proper. Does that make me eclectic or a heretic? Bring on the Forum knife for all!
