Sorry for commenting on an old thread but, in one episode Carol used what looked to be a Microtech Scarab OTF or Schrade Viper OTF

And in another episode Carol was using a United Cutlery shoulder harness knife. I'd recognize the knuckle duster portion anywhere. I also saw her using a Cold Steel kukri machete when it got stuck in the walker's head.

And unless I saw wrong, Hershel was carrying a USMC while tending to the infected.

After the last three episodes I am done with the show. Two wasted episodes on the governor screwing around, and now this last episode. Show has hardly been worth watching this season. Not even killing zombies with knives can keep my interest now.

I know. It starts to wander off like Lost used to do. Typical money maker show with no purpose. Nothing really happens and the zombies seem to be secondary (and they are REALLY easy to kill) compared to the Bold and the Beautiful drama. Second season was boring as hell, but at least the house burned down at the end of the season. Now in the fourth season they still rot in the prison. Boooooooooriiiing!

The acting\plot lines in the series is pretty mediocre at any time, particularly after going through Breaking Bad. As for the Gerber knives....maybe Grills will join the cast and leap off buildings to destroy zombies.

It's a great show, glad it's still running..really cool to Jerry Busse's knives in there on a consistent basis..seeing one of the original manufacturers to join BF have some props like that is just a big :thumbup:.
