The Walking Dead Season 3 Thread...

And the walker taking it to the head... Bloody awesome! ;) :

And they are surprised they're all infected. I supposed they haven't considered that only people killing these highly infectious walkers inches away, or splashing their blood all over with bats is what got them infected?

I think they need to head north. Somewhere above where everything freezes solid in the winter. That should have killed off all of the walkers up there when their brains froze and the cells burst.

Carl hadn't killed any walkers at the time and his CDC bloodtest showed him as infected.

Unfortunatley, this all makes too much sense. This is one of my favorite shows, but it doesn't always make sense. It is still a great vehicle to deal with issues of human morality. I would like to think that if a zombie outbright was scientifically possible, people would be a lot more logical in terms of how they protect themselves and deal with the zombies, but that wouldn't make for a cool show would it?

TWD season 3, episode 2 tonight! Get your TGs ready!

I hope we learn more about the blade specialist. Those two jawless/armless zombies she keeps with her look like black guys, maybe they're her bothers?

Big5 had a crossbow on sale for $150, I almost bought it on sight, but then I'd have to order another TGLB too lol

not giving anything away, but in the comic (TPB) the zombies that are with her were her boyfriend and his best friend. Seeing how much the show deviates from the comic though, they could be anyone.

Anybody know the best place to watch the episode tonight online???

Not at 9pm. AMCtv.com might have it on their site late tonight or tomorrow. Won't see it any earlier than after 9 PDT there.

I don't see how humanity always loses to a zombie outbreak in every movie, lol. I understand if they're "ragers" like in I am Legend, where they have increased strength and are always running balls to the walls at you. But against an army decked out in riot gear, fully automatic weapons, gunships, and human intelligence. How could you lose? The Native Americans were armed with more than just "teeth" and they were decimated by 1 shot wielding muskets. I know, "one person infected=more people infected" argument, but humanity survived the Bubonic Plague, which was far more contagious than any sort of zombie bite, as that was spread by fleas! I mean I love the show, but Humans vs. zombies would be like Green Berets vs. Cavemen. Who would win?

Cool screen grabs Jaxx! I love the CG stunt blade :) Bloody awesome indeed!!!:devilish:

Definitely! I really like how they try to do as much as possible without relying on CGI for everything in the show. Takes a lot more creativity from the crew and the actors to pull off these stunts and I definitely appreciate the dedication and effort.

Dish picked AMC back up today so if you have Dish you should be able to watch it.

LOL! Power to the people!! ;) :D:D ...Figured that Dish would cave soon after last Sunday. Bet they lost a lot of accounts this past week. :D

Those weren't zombies in I Am Legend...

I have to dvr it and wait for my friend to go to bed before i can watch it. Who new that a zombie show could freak out a 30year old hard core hunter and outdoors man.

 Whoa!!!

...I know folks are gonna want to get into this, but please choose your words carefully, so that we won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet, cool?

:) ...But DAYUMMMM! :D:D:D

BTW, they're rerunning it @ 10pm EDT for those who missed this on the east side. ;)
