The "Whatever" Thread

A nice close one at least, and losing a real game is better than winning a video game.

It's just such a great feeling seeing Hanna play after the years of her not being able to do anything. She's getting better (Jonny has been practicing with her), and she really likes it. That's all that matters.

I am a member of some facebook groups and a member the PH forum and it's amazing how some people focus on the knives the people on the show "Alone" choose to take with them. If one of you guys would get on that show and take one of your JK's that would probably boost John's business a 100 fold.

We had a good time at the festival, not as crowded as we expected and the weather better than forecast. One of the vendors asked if it was okay to give our two year old a piece of chocolate. We said sure and the look on his face when Thomas said "thank you" was total disbelief. He motioned us closer and told us that our son was the only child who had said thank you.

People always say to me I can't believe your kids are so polite. They always say please and thank you and always call people sir or maam. People will say you don'thave to call me that I'm so and so. I usually politely explain that is not a option for my children as it's a respect thing. They are always shocked by it lol

I can't imagine the joy you feel just seeing her out there. Her doing well is a bonus. I love reading about how good she is doing and look forward to every pic.

Happiness is a thoroughly cleaned garage followed up with a burger and beer.

unhappiness is owning a sears riding mower. :(
got the motor replaced a month ago - this afternoon one of the spindle mounts under the deck dismounted when I hit a hidden piece of wood, 28 days after the warranty ran out.
(renewing the extended warranty would have run me another $300 for 1 year, $900 for 3) -- replacing the spindle should cost less than $30 for the parts.)

I've had my Sears mower for 8 years with no issues except for replacing the battery. Of course my yard is only 70 x 170.

the murray built craftsman mowers were good. (90's)
the MTD models weren't bad. (noughts)
I'm not impressed with the current generation of AYP built machines.

spent most of the day weed eating my mother rin always yard, her landlord mows it but can't trim, my weedeaters been out fo action for a few weeks and it's a big yard so after getting it going I finally managed to get over there, needless to say it was up pretty high by then lol

Pancakes shaped like "5" for breakfast and Chuck E. Cheese for lunch. That can only mean one thing: it's my son's birthday. How the time has flown.

Well hey, wish him Happy Birthday from all of us!

Happy Birthday to the young 'Mudge!

Thanks guys.
Much to the shock and dismay of some (a few family members on my wife's side and some of her Facebook "friends") he got a bow and arrow for his 5th b-day. How could we give our child a "weapon"? It's not a weapon, it's a tool; the weapons are still a few years off. He couldn't be more excited about it.

Hey Guys
Who would y'all recommend to make a custom leather sheath?
I have my JK fork and knife set and I am thinking I want one that will hold both. I have had a bit of bad luck in the past with some leather sheath guys so would like to go with someone y'all have have had good luck with.
thanks
