Shouldn't you be posting in all caps to get your point across........? Tell her GOOD LUCK!
Good luck to the better half! I also have a confession to make..... I've gotten a weird urge to buy a little 38 special derringer lately. Anybody have any experience with them (derringers in general regardless of caliber)?
I know there won't be a problem if you have proper trigger discipline but how "safe" are they? I would carry IWB, I imagine the trigger pulls probably pretty hefty.I've got the NAA Mini Revolver in .22 magnum, but no experience with a. 2 shot .38. (Unless you count the original Remington .41 rim fire, I've got one of those)
I have a couple of the NAA's and I can't say anything negative about them. If I were buying a derringer the first one I would look at would be Bond Arms. I have the Snake Slayer 45/410 that is a lot of fun to shoot. I keep looking at the Backup trying to convince the wife that I want to buy it for her. The barrels are interchangeable on the Bond and they were running a special offering a second barrel for half price with the purchase of a new gun. It may not be the most practical gun I carry but I have confidence in it whether it is loaded with 45 LC hollow points or 3" buck shot. On top of everything else it is a quality made in the USA product.....I also have a confession to make..... I've gotten a weird urge to buy a little 38 special derringer lately. I have a single shot .45/.410 break action that is actually really fun to shoot. I've been eyeing the Bond Arms but want to keep it under $200.I have a couple of the NAA's and I can't say anything negative about them.
