The "Whatever" Thread

Prayers and best wishes to all. I understand how difficult it can be and the pain that accompanies doing the right thing.

We lost our Rottweiler a couple of days ago, losing a family pet is hard. Took the Pug into the vet today and he checked out great but they found a tick on him so my wife is all in a panic so I ordered some of that Nexgard and we gave him a good bath with flea and tick shampoo.

Aw, sorry to hear about Bella, and your Rottie too, rssajs. A good dog can be better than a lot of people that are out there, it sucks to lose them.

Very sad to hear of your losing your pet, never easy to lose a best friend.

Hanna spent the night, so now Connie is making breakfast. Breakfast burritos with egg, bacon, and cheese, Hanna's favorite!

Well I've got a day hike planned for Monday with a co worker in Red rock canyon. It will be my first real trip outdoors since Febuary or so, getting old sucks and I'm doing it way too young. I realized I wasn't taking any time off to relax, just running from task to task until it was time to go back to work.

I love that area. I used to hike Nevada quite a bit. Some of the hottest/coolest places in the country.
I love The Valley of Fire at sunrise.

It is great to hike but you have to get out at 5 or so to get out there before the sun gets melting temperatures.

survived the family reunion.
SWMBO survived her folks' 50th anniversary party.
Wednesday we drive to Des Moines for a day-trip.

I'm subscribed to the forum in tapatalk so whenever one pops up I report it, John who did you make enemies with?

Spam?I like it fried or roasted over an open fire.
It's great with ramen noodles too.
I can do without computer spam though, it's got a nasty smell to it.:barf:
Probably from the geeks that spread it around.

On a side note....

I'm withering away here in rehab.
I weighed 218.5lbs when I first went to the docs on the 15th of june and now I weigh 186.
