I'll get my thoughts/questions organized and send you an email.I'm not anticipating any problems with the opener.
If it doesn't rain in the morning, Hanna has her first Fall League baseball game.
Jack has been all work and no play for a little too long. Spent the weekend getting a new dishwasher installed and disposing of the old one. Then I donated our old walmart special dining room table after disassembling it and picked up our new to us 7 foot by 3 foot oak table with chairs and bench, thing looks like it belongs in a mead hall somewhere (now where did I put my flagon of ale). Got the tree trimmed, cacti pruned, red grass out front cut down, bugs and weeds sprayed. Then painted the upstairs hallway and replaced a piece of damaged trim in the living room. I think I've earned a well deserved hike followed by a few hundred rounds out of each gun. Hows has everyone else been lately?
You have been working way to hard, take a break! I'm taking an advanced 300 round pistol class in two weeks. Shooting on the move and from cover. Going to use my Glock 17 and the holster I got from Ryan Grizzle, and an old double mag pouch I have on hand.
I'm starting job orientation and safely training at night Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week, then will start the job next Friday.
You have me watering at the mouth mentioning the class. I'm trying to find some pistol courses but there are only two kinds I've found so far here, Basic bare bones classes and the $500 for four hours private instruction. I get out in the desert four or five times a year and usually shoot around 200-300 rounds per gun and other than that it's just my twice yearly competency test for work. I found a coworker who is a gun nut too so we are trying to work out a day to go. There are some of the Revere's Riders courses that I tried to take last year but they aren't until February and March.
I must of missed something, what's the new job?
Sorry to hear about the missed hunt. Hope the wife and kids start feeling better soon.Back in June, I started the planning and prep for my first elk hunt in many years. Picked up a new to me used bow. Spent the necessary time at the range. Scouted the area. Picked up the final supplies for 4 days in the woods. Three JK knives sharpened and packed. 2 days before departure, my wife and two young girls start not feeling well. The evening before my 5am departure, both daughters have deep chest coughs. By 10pm, my youngest has a fever of 102. By 2:30 am, I've cleaned up and washed the sheets after 3 bouts of vomit. We'll see what tomorrow brings but it doesn't look like I'll be walking in the mountains with bow in hand.
