I'm down with some kind of flu, feel achy, dizzy, and just all around miserable.
Take good care of yourself John, this years H3N2 strain is an ass kicker.
Knives can wait, stay out of the shop and get plenty of rest, rest, rest.

snow storm today. winter storm warning today 10a-7p tomorrow. picked up my youngest son from school friday night. was planning to take him back early tomorrow morning. but, decided to head out about 11:30a to take him back. it's probably a good thing i did. 4 accidents on the way home.

just watching the snow now. peaceful.

Instructed some fine Americans in rifle marksmanship today. Zero st 100 and dope out to 500. 30 mph cross wind was rough to compensate for the new shooters. I just held on the far side of the target and let the wind blow it where I wanted it to go lol. Good times spent with good people

Pretty gnarly out there today, glad everyone made it back safe. I was out earlier today, the roads were snowy and slick. Looking at around 12" or so from this storm.

Been pretty depressed lately. My dad is in the hospital. He was in renal failure and wasn't expected to last more than few days. Surprisingly, his donor kidney started working again. It's still iffy for him, if he can't start taking fluids on his own, he will continue to decline. He's already been through a ton of stuff this last year, he's been in and out of the hospital quite a few times. I just don't want him to be in pain anymore. My brother and sisters are all here. I feel bad for my mom, she has been his primary caregiver, and has been through a lot also.

Sorry for dumping on this thread, I had to let it out.

Hope everyone stayed safe in the snow. No snow or ice here today, it was so warm we had our house windows open most of the day.
