The "Whatever" Thread

We had snow the last 2 days. The cold weather is messing with mushroom season lol. I use to Turkey hunt in the mornings and morel hunt in the afternoon. Not this year

I found the first mushrooms the first week of april last year. Weather is weird, but is nice today and supposed to be nicer tomorrow.
Going to check for mushrooms between classes tomorrow.:D

Working for yourself has no job security either, everything can change in an instant, and it can be very stressful.
I've been starting to consider getting a normal job again just to cut down on stress.

Hey,
All of you young fellers out there, you will get a real quick education in things changing in an instant before it's all said and done!

Just got a text from my older son. He's in DC with friends at a beerfest. He texted that he wished I was there with him. Not many fathers can expect that from a 26 year old son. Nearly brought tears to my eyes......nearly is putting it mildly. From the post here I'm sure most of you agree, there's nothing like family:thumbsup:

First day back at work after a week of vacation is " unique", knowing there's a good chance I might have to work 16 makes it even more so. I talked to my work partner yesterday and he had 56 hours overtime last week.

Got back last night from a collegiate timbersports competition in Wisconsin. Won one of my events and got second in the other. As a team, we got second overall ( of 10 teams) and had to give the travelling trophy that we won last year back to our rivals. Was a fantastic weekend which included an epic snowball fight among the majority of competing schools. I would guess about 60 or 70 people. :D

GO SALUKIS

Been checking the knife out and I believe it's an older model. It says Camping on the handle with a picture of a tent and the corkscrew is grooved like the older Vics.
