JK Knives JK Knives is Elise Hannah's baby or Hayley's?

I thought back and thought you mentioned it was Hannah that was having a baby.

Anyway, time sure does fly!

And yes, many a cabin and yurt were defiled by the crew in the yellow 'rado. 😁

Anyway, it'll only hurt for a little while....
😬

Hayley and her husband Jack’s baby. She has a lot more hair than me!

Got an old hard Arkansas in, it was kinda nasty but got it cleaned, lapped, dressed and burnished. Took my jk pocket cleaver and restored the edge to its former glory for the stones test drive. I was gonna go to church this morning but my oldest son was up at 5am when I got up. He did the teenager thing and stayed up all night and I need him to watch his brothers while I go to service.

How old is the youngest one? How old now?

I’m looking to see if anyone has any old Imperial Frontier fixed blade knives with the white handles that they might be interested in letting go of. I don’t do eBay, and can only pay with a check. I know it’s a long shot, but figured I’d give it a try. I have this strange idea to put together a group of some of my favorite knives that I owned back in the 1970’s to leave to my great grandson when I pass. I already have several old Bucks, Schrades, and Colonials. Also looking for Western Brand fixed blades.I wanted to get a Gerber MKI, but those are out of my price range.

Since I’m not having any luck finding the knives I’m looking for, I’m working on copies of my favorite books, which I still have some. The First edition of The Gun Digest Book Of Knives, The Gun Digest Book Of Folding Knives, and The Gun Digest Book Of Knives 2nd Edition, all from the 1970’s, along with the 1974 Herter’s Catalog.
I also have my Hunter orange stocking cap, hunting vest, and pocket watch, all bought at the old Venture Store back in 1975. I also have my Ruger Single Six, that was made in 1983, that I bought from my best friend in 1987.
I’m working on seeing what else I have around here, I need to go through all my bookshelves and closets, I’ve been in this house since 1983, so it’s going to take some searching.

I can check the fleabay for your knives for you john! Those books sounds pretty cool and you can't beat a hunters orange hat and vest, pocket watch is a nice touch for sure. I got a cheap Chinese one. Every morning I pick my jk and watch for the day!

My vest is one of those old canvas type with the shotgun shell loops, but it’s still in good condition. I don’t want anyone to go spend money on the knives, I was just hoping that they had some just laying around that they wanted to sell. I don’t know from one day to the next if I will be here, and don’t want to owe anyone money.
