There might possibly be water falling from the sky... I think one of the weather station said we have had a 1/2" since last september.
Wow, when I was at Lackland in Texas we had TON of rain in February of 2013.
I swear we had 4 days of rain in a row and my graduation run it was downpouring and that was in april, also I probably should've said I Went to basic feb 19 2013.Either you are from Arizona or someone was running a sprinkler while you were there![]()

To be fair though, San Antonio is a big city and they take the "official" reading at the airport.. There are a lot of times I get nothing at my house (about 5 miles from Lackland AFB) and they get over an inch on the NE side of town.
Mail call was awesome today. One came USPS, the other came UPS... I had already got the USPS delivery and left the house and started walking to get my daughter from school and was a half mile from my house when the UPS driver pulled over to the side of the road to deliver my package to me... Just awesome. He knows me pretty well so when he seen me walking he just stopped the truck and handed it to me... AWESOME.
My mail call was pretty awesome today too. Got my 45 ton ironworker delivered today. What sucks though is I have to assemble it.......... that will take a forklift. The head unit is 750 lbs.

I honestly didnt know what an ironworker was.. I though you guys that made knives were all ironworkers LOL
But last time you mentioned it I looked it up and watched a youtube video. I bet thats going to make some things easier!!
Do you still plan to use a waterjet service for some of your blanks? I know you also said you got, or are getting, a plasma cutter so im just curious if you plan on doing all work in house once you get all these big timer tools in?
That looks pretty cool!! Is that micarta or wood?
Wood!
I'm going to be heading out for a couples hours it's such a nice day, however I'll still be able to respond from my emal, if you'd like send me an email and it'll be a lot easier since Bladeforums doesn't want me to have a BK2.![]()

Actually, these big timer tools as you call them will be mostly for my subcontracting work. I was hoping I could have dies made for the smaller knives like the hornet and magua. But the high carbon content even in the pre heat treated stage will ruin a die quicker than what I would want to pay for another one. As far as the plasma cutter. No dice there either. It uses heat, it would to say the least work harden the blanks. All of these tools aren't going to be much use to me as far as knifemaking goes. But everything outside of that, they will be a huge advantage.
