Third white buffalo

anyways. . . White Buffalo.

It could be white for one of three reasons
1. Born white, but it will turn brown in a couple years
2. Albino.
3. Could be from cross-breeding with cattle.

Does anyone know which type the last White Buffalo was?

Dear Ratfinkenstein;

Making a gross error and then attacking others for not 'understanding' is typical sociopathic behavior. You are not believed by all reasonable men here. I can't think of anyone reading this who'd believe you. Callimg me names won't change anything, except get you lower and lower in people's respect.

He does not fall lower in my respect . I do show concern for someone who chooses to alienate people and then blame them for the alienation . To me it is based on fear .

Do you guys actually believe the crap the you write? Based on fear? Fear?

Thanks for the psychoanalysis, chuckles.

Did you even read this thread? Maybe it is time to focus on your critical reading skills.

You can try putting any spin you like on the facts, but you only fool yourselves.

If you don't like what I have to say, even in jest- feel free to put me on the ignore list.

Good afternoon, gentlemen.

I'm willing to bet that cheese breath doesn't say much on the street; rather, I suspect he would choke on his own spit before saying anything which might draw a reprisal from anyone......or worse, maybe he's an attorney with the ACLU :D

Maybe he is the guy who kissesd your shoes at Church,s . L:O:L

Rat finkenstein, if you are done we would like to get back to the White Buffalo. This thread deserves respect and because of the religious context is not a proper place for this continued argument. Take it to whine and cheese.
You've had the last word; leave it at that, please, as courtesy to the forum.

Kevin, I thought you spoke very well and truly.

No, as I remember, the manager (Black) shook my hand, looked me in the eyes (something our troll couldn't possibly do) and said thanks. And I said "Any time, Brother" and meant it.

If the white coat is hereditary and not miraculous (I would listen closely to arguments on both sides) then a recessive gene would have to be received from both parents, even though both parents would have to be heterozygous for hide color. This would occur much more regularly in a smaller herd (limited gene pool). In the previous centuries, when herds of 25,000,000 existed (very large gene pool) such births would have been far less often.

Now, throw in the Great Spirit, God, the Great Architect of the Universe (you specify), and at His (Her?) wish a new mutation (a simple misss-copying of a letter of genetic code) could result in a new white baby at will........

If the recessive genes are that rare, it's amazing the small herd just happened to have two animals with the gene, and that is was passed down in such a way that a male and female were availble to make another whitle buffalo.

Whatever the reason, it is cool that another one was born.

Which is precisely why I don't rule out devine intervention.

I'm going to nominate this thread as more evidence that HI Cantina is a cut above;) the average.
I say when we show respect for the Sacred, even that which outside our own beliefs, then we are promoting peace and common ground between people.

Three White Buffalo. Wow.

Thanks Munk .

I think that Shamanic beliefs can be asessed (sp) by both the spiritual and scientific community irrespective of differing viewpoints . Whether a Shaman is seen as a spiritual leader or a showman it is apparent he must be a wiseman .

Boy, this one got ugly fast.

Gentlebeings, W&C would be a good place to discuss barbecue recipes.

Aside from that topic, I wonder if we can all realize that some people believe the birth of a white buffalo is a supernatural event and some people do not. Is it possible for people with such different beliefs to discuss such an event in a calmer and less personal fashion than has been going on in this thread so far? I don't know. I don't think Bladeforums is a place where you can reasonably expect to have the moderators bar everyone who does not believe it's a supernatural event from joining in the discussion.

As is most often the case . It is not what we choose to say . It is how we choose to express ourselves .

The White Buffalo is not part of my belief system . I do show respect for those who revere it . I feel blessed if they are willing to allow me to catch a glimpse of why they believe in it . I say glimpse because really it would take a rare man to understand the reasoning behind it .

We have not lived the life . We do not have the memorys of days past . What hunger they may have felt . What toll starvation may have taken from them .
To know that at times their very being depended upon these animals .

A modern man goes hunting and 99 times out of 100 if he misses he gets in his truck goes home throws a couple of burgers on the barbeque and tilts back a frosty one .

There can be no comparison to what hunters who hunted to live went through . No comprehension . You cannot get there from here . The best we can do is feel honored if those who believe in different ways allow us a look at who they are .

A little off topic, but, I was wondering if anyone has ever had a chance to see a Spirit Bear. These very rare bears are only found in a few areas of British Columbia, Canada. Long known about by the First Nations people, they are not a polar bear or an albino, more like a white Kodiak.
AAAAGGGhhhhh, I can't post a picture of them!!
