AARGH! I have nightmares (YES! REAL NIGHTMARES) about openeing my larger cabinet humidor and finding beetle-sign. DO NOT put the rest of those cigars in with your main collection. Remember, that a home freezer will retard the hatching of beetles, but there is a large amount of evidence that the temps are not cold enough to actually kill the eggs. Those cigars should be treated as suspect, and not allowed back in gen-pop. Clean the humi out VERY well before using it again.
As for cutters, use what you like, some find that it is hard to cut little enough off with a guilotine (I use a palio or a davidoff depending on whethere I am in a form [davidoff] or function [palio] mood), while others find excessive tar builds up with either a punch or a v-notch. It also may change based on the cigar.
Stay away from havana honeys. If you want a good, cheap starter cigar, let me know, I can recommend many. Don't start your collection with flavored sweet cigars that will contaminate your humidor (and other cigars).
