This just in ~ from España • The Navajas of ArtesaniaHerreros

I have just noticed that Vicent posted his folder here as well! I am quite a disaster with the computer so please, let me apologize if I miss some tags and post here and there, if I see them I answer them.

I just wanted to thank you Vicent and you all for being continuosly supporting me! Thanks a lot for giving me the opportunity of showing my folding knives here and there, and more than that for trusting me as an artisan.

Thanks a lot guys!

PS: Really quick question guys, what would be the right english word to name an artesano? Artisan or craftsman? What is the difference? (now you say that they are synonism hahaa)
You are quite welcome, José. I am sure I will post it often!
Ray answered the question about "artisan" or "craftsman" very well, by the way.

I've got another one to add to this fine thread. I chose the Mini Vendetta Corso and it arrived today from Spain.

My pictures don't do the knife much justice. It is an absolute jewel. I could not be happier or more impressed.

That is just gorgeous! Simple, yet elegant. Great attention to detail. And handmade!
Congratulations!

Rick - you getting the hang of the palanquilla?

R
I'm giving it a good run for its money. The mechanism functions exactly as it should. No problem there but I'm trying to perfect a maneuver that allows me to unlock the blade and close it in one smooth motion. I've just about got it figured out. I know what I need to do. I just have to perfect it.

Awesome, Railsplitter!
That's quite a piece.
My navaja is the most unique knife in my collection.
I was curious about this model. Glad to see it in the hand for size reference, and glad to hear your favorable feedback.
Welcome to the "navaja club!"

Thanks, Pinemoon! I really like your Combination pattern that you posted a few pages back. I'm going to take some more time to decide but if I were to place another order right now that would be the one I would get.

Neat...
Mine is sizeable, but only the handle (for pocket cary).
The blade is perfectly sized for the frame IMO...slightly smaller than it's American cousin would be.

I'm thinking my next navaja will be something with a clip-point like Prester J. has. There's something about that long, sweeping clip that captivates.
But your newest addition is really cool, too. I want both :)

I was wondering the other day if Jose' makes fixed blades??
