This Years Holiday Tins

Mine still has a few 112 tins left, still priced at $25. I did notice that there were a bunch of the Leatherman combo gift packs in several area Wal-Marts. They were marked down to $40 from $49 if anyone is interested.

There's still hope - two tins appeared at my local store this morning (and left with me at $25)

There were some holiday tin 112s at the WalMart in Valencia, CA a week or two ago. Picked up a Holiday Tin 373 Trio today from Sports Chalet.

...???...Does anyone know why these "holiday tins" are appearing now, after the Christmas rush???

I found one at my local Wal-Mart, i checked before Christmas and they were all sold out, so the only thing i can figure is they are coming back, i think people overspend so some are getting returned, that's why some are back on the shelves.

I saw two in my local Wally World this week that had been ripped opened and then taped closed. I presume these are returns.

Been looking everywhere for the 112 tin and have had no luck. Any of you guys out there lucky enough to have picked up an extra and wouldn't mind parting with it? I'd love to have one.

I think I could be persuaded to give up my Hoyt Buck Founders Edition 112+tin, NIB & unopened...My email is around here somewhere... :D

My local Wally World has had the 112 tins on the shelf since early December. Then a few weeks ago WW marked them down to $21.

So my wife was in Wal Mart on Saturday and they still had 5 tins left, still at $21. Now my wife can bat her eyelashes as good as anyone and decided to call the sporting goods guy over. "Sir" eyelashes "someone told me that you will discount clearance items if a customer will purchase the entire remaining stock" more eyelashes. "So I'll offer you $15 ea for those 'leftover knives' you have over there on clearance". He calls his manager, tells him the story, says ok a few times, then hangs up. He comes back over to my wife and says "we can do that for you".

So she scored 5 tins for $15 each! Nothing like the power of eyelashes!

My store never did have these, as far as I can tell. The sporting goods employees just give you a dull stare when you ask about them. Nice score on those tins.

FYI-If you missed out on the red bone tiny trapper and muskrat, noticed that Smokey Mountain is selling these, as well as other trapper and stockman patterns in red bone (all individually w/o the tins). Looks like these may become regular production items

GRRRRR My walmart said no discounts!!

I need eyelashes.

I bought 25 of them at full price!

On the bright side, the cost of the red bone set with the tin was less than the muskrat and trapper individually without the tin from SMKW (especially if you factor in shipping).
