This Years Holiday Tins

The clerk in sporting goods said to check between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They did have the $20 Remington set, but I didn't buy any.

The local Walmart called me yesterday and said they want to hire me to stock stuff during the night. Hopefully they do so I know when the tins come in.

Darryl...
I think that swamp juju juice is gettin' to ya!!!

Reading about us all driving around looking for the 112. Then I thought about the "How old are you Buck owners" thread. I know that I am old enough to "remember" cruising for chicks and now my buds and me cruise Wal-Mart looking for knives.

Sad to say...My "cruise for chicks" drive is just not what it used to be... :(
 ...How true fellas...The only "cruizin' fer chicks" I been doin' the last few years is for the "Fried Chick Pieces" at Publix...:( ...

What is a "Publix"?
Anyway...

1> I was gonna get the two 110 tins from Jim on the sale-thread...but they're gone. :(

Mailman came...
2> No 110 Damascus :(
3> No KFC coupons (I like that stuff) in the monthly junk mailer :(

4> No 112 tins at my Wally :(

I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?

BTW, Darryl, that gal in your avatar du jour looks like one of your patients practicing to be examed.

I am new here on the forum, I was in my local Walmart (Marysville, Wa) and seen the 112 tins, they had a bunch of them 30-40 of the 112 and that many or more of the others, I couldn't resist, I bought 6 of the 112s I will probably get that many or more later if they still have them.

I just got home from Wally's I bought 4 more 112s, I counted 64 112s after I bought the 4 of them, It's nice to have that many to pick through so you get what you want, I think I'm turning into a 112 junkie, my wife say's there's no thinking about it. :D

Buckaholic,
Publix is your version of say a Krogers down here in Florida, Krogers arent down this far south. Publix's is the largest food store chain here.

BTW....I got my Buck 112 today at my local WW, they had a large display set up in sporting good dept, I went ahead and bought 4 total for now, will wait and see if I can get more on clearance after the holidays like last years 110.:D

The display was already half empty this afternoon, not sure when they set it up.

Big honkin stacks of tins at Super-Wallyworld in Jasper, TX and Beaumont, TX.

Bumped into my nephew at TEXAS KNIVES & COLLECTIBLES in Spurger, TX and he whipped out a Hoyt 112 from his pocket and said hey check it out! So I whipped out mine of course.:)

Now in stock in the DFW area also, even my local one that usually doesn't get the good stuff until late.

“News Flash”…Their Here!!!!!,
FYI....
Both of the local wally stores near me in CA had the tins in stock. Hay goose....you can come on down to Suisun City or Vacaville and get your fix....before they sell out. The store in Suisun City had them mixed in a center isle display with the Winchester knives and did not have many out. The Vacaville store had a cardboard Buck knife display that was the size of half a pallet.

What is the point of buying 4 and 5 tins of each? Are you going to give them as gifts or do you really think they will be THAT collectable in the future?

EXCELLENT Price!!!! Stock up for future use! Xmas presents down the road!

Why do you buy 4 tires for your vehicle? :D

damn it! still none in L.A wallies.
already checked dozen times and don't want to go any more....

I had to search the entire sporting goods section to find them. They were on the very highest shelf and i could hardly see them from the isle. They were above those stupid exercise ballance balls. No display, no price, no sign, no nothing.

I went back a few days later to buy another 112 for a gift, and they moved them to another part of sporting goods, this time to the very bottom shelf, so they were 2 inches off the ground. Still no display, sign, or price.

They only had maybe 3 of each tin each time also.
