No problems trax, :D it looks like the knife and tin are packaged in the blister pack with the tin open, I sent you a message with the pics.

I got it, thanks! :D

Looks OK...May be worth picking one up just for the closet...

I think so, It doesnt look too bad! I kind of like the cover to the tin, neat design and the etch on the blade is done nicely. :D

I like the tin better on this one :). I don't collect non-usa made bucks.....but, I do like the red bone....so....who knows.

When I saw those I was thinking that a 371 and 373 together in red bone would have been a really great combo.

It's absolutely pouring rain here this morning, so I had to take these inside my garage. They suck, but I will take better ones tomorrow.

EDIT: Rain Stopped, here are better pictures.

tlc
you mentioned earlier a little buck stand what is that ?
is it one of the little plastic ones they sell ?

Yes, it's inside the box, sorry I forgot to take it out for the picture. It's a small acrylic stand with the Buck logo on it.

TLC, the tang stamp is different:confused: BUCK, 112-?, USA, KNIVES. A good close up of the tang stamp would be appreciated:D. Preston

thanks for the info tlc and i think the pics turned out good thanks
its just too bad that the knife didnt have nickle silver bolsters as i dont really care for the brass

I didn't pay much attention to it, but the tangstamp is different.

buckman#10, I here you, I prefer NS also. Now that I like the 112 so much, I may have to hunt down a NS one...any excuse to buy another Buck!

Buckman#10...go to my site at bottom of this post and you will see the stand.

Preston...yeah...I was wondering about that tang too.

thanks goose
i figured thats what it was like , i have been wanting one of them for a while now so its an excuse to buy the knife and like tlc says to hunt down a ns version as a tin that nice should have better than the standard old brass lol
btw whats the story on the squirrel ? its kinda cool

TLC, thanks for that close up...guess I'll have to round up a couple of those.

I'm wondering if that is a special W/W tang stamp or something new for the real world Bucks???? Preston
