Some of the YouTube reviewers have given them good reviews and they seem to be honest about their steel content.
There are bunch of Chinese companies making decent quality knives now. It's hard to get concrete data but it seems that a lot of them started out making knives for bigger-name companies, doing OEM work, etc. Eventually, they start creating sub-brands or making their own products.
There have been questions about some companies stealing designs or design elements, but intellectual property can be complicated in a global economy. For instance, let's say company X was making design Y for foreign company Z. Company X has leftovers or makes design Y or makes something based on or influenced by design Y as part of a different line to sell in a different market where Z didn't have regular distribution, etc. That line might continue and then eventually bleed over into a new market. Then we get people boycotting company X while unknowingly carrying X-made knives with a Z brand.
