Thoughts on TwoSun knives

There is a reason Todd Begg, Chavez, Long Mah and others have companies like Reate build their knives.
I bet you would be surprised if you found out which US manufacturers use Two Sun, Tuya, and CH to build knives or make parts for them. If you are in to archery that’s how companies like Bowtech and G5 got started.

Yes, one folder and got rid of it soon. Few issues out of box - felt cheap and low quality, bought it out of conviction from my friend who claimed I just hate everything made in China (which is partially true) and I should give it a try as quality has gotten descent. Never again I shall make the mistake and betray my American knife brands. That's worse than cheating on your spouse. And I got served by karma! So for me TwoSun knives -> CCC = Cheap Chinese Crap

And anyone who pays over $100 on a Chinese made knife (including Reate and Kizer and others) is making a deadly financial and purchasing mistake! The only thing IO am OK with made in China is my socks and underwear, because I can not find US manufactured socks and underwear.

P.S. Only once I an issue with US made knife (out of about 100 I own) - Benchmade Barrage and Benchmade was happy to replace it. Period.
Twosun is not CCC..yes China makes a lot of crap...but Twosun is not in that category..I know I own 500 plus knives the majority USA made...I'm an American machinist who knows quality and precision parts more than most...Twosun as of recent makes great products..customer service I'm sure are to be lacking if needed.

Yeah I suppose Laconico and the like don’t mind having their name and reputation on the line by having their production line knives made by “Cheap Chinese crap companies”

I guess ignorance is bliss...

Nonsense. USA made Socks and underwear are the easiest things to find. Post of lies.

Gustin, carhartt, darned tough etc. try harder. I personally only wear Darned tough, the lifetime warranty can’t be beat.

the first time I received a Twosun knife I was pissed because of the quality knife I received for 50$ was on par and better than some 200$ USA made knives I’ve gotten. And this is coming from a guy who supports American made in everything. Tools, shoes, boots, socks, underwear, pants, shirts, jacket, hats, wallet, knives.

Just received my ts127 and I’m completely blown away by the fit and finish of this knife.
From the decorative pivot screws to the steel lock bar insert in the titanium liner
(Who does that?) it exceeds my expectations by miles and my expectations were pretty high to begin with.
All I’ll say is that a knife with this attention to detail and materials was made and
sold in the states it would be MINIMUM 3x’s the price.
Did I mention the action is outstanding,
Fires like a rocket with a detent that is crisp yet easy on the fingers and a drop shut action with a very slight wiggle out of the box.
I usually take down, clean and lube every new knife I purchase but have no need to do so with this one.
Pics and more info to come as I get to use it, can’t wait for the ts139 to arrive now.

I've just about had the same experience w/ the TS129 & TS16 Ti. Not many manufactures put detent ramps. Both of these do! Nice. The TS16 Ti is just a bit too big for my taste & will be going up for sale shorty.
So for my first experience w/ Twosun...:thumbsup::thumbsup:

TwoSun Ti mini in m390. Grinds and sharpness were better out of box than any CRK I've ever had.

Fit and finish were ridiculous for the price. Ultimately, CNC programming has come of age and even Kevin Wilkins kinda insinuates it's going to be extremely competitive in the lower priced knife bracket. Think what you want but legit China knife manufacturers are bringing their A game. Hell even alot of the non legit makers are bringing it

Looks like a $10 knife to me....

Not sure this needs to descend into rather misplaced Nationalism.

China makes bad stuff, it makes good stuff. Just like the USA and Britain and anywhere else.

Yep - Mybo (Brit made) Origin compound bow, Shibuya sight (Japanese I think), SS rest (ermmm, not sure where they're made), Carter wrist release (American) and Easton arrows (also American). However many of my tools, fletching jig and other bits are Chinese and all fine.
