Threating banishment.

First off....
I didn't threaten to ban you. I replied to your bottom line statement that you'll post where you want to, when you want to with my own bottom line statement that you are likely to be banned if you keep acting the way you do.
Your generally abrasive, self righteous and entitled behavior in regards to other posters whom don't agree with you and the forum, your having to correct even the slightest misconception of just about anything anyone else posts, Your general disregard for where/when you are posting and your disruption of decent threads with your issues and attitude is growing rather tiresome. It is disruptive to the forum as a whole. You've been spoken to about this behavior, yet you continue to feel as if you can do as you please here.
The long and short of it is..... this is a private forum. You don't really have and rights to free speech here other than what the owners and its moderators give you. No one is forcing you to be here or participate. If you or anyone else, doesn't like being here or like the way the site is moderated, your best course of action is to use the log out button and not come back.

I agree that there are some folks here that are only around to troll and stir up drama. I'm fairly convinced some of them don't own anything sharper than safety scissors. That said, the rest of your post is just wrong. Outside of a few sub-forums, this is easily the most relaxed and informative topic related discussion forum around IME. I see you've only been a member here for a month or two, so not sure how much experience you've had elsewhere, but there's a reason BFC is as big as it is. Also, honorable mention to the JD.

Well you cant say she wasnt asking for it. She chose to make post after post of colorful comments about me without even knowing me. If she is gonna throw punches she should be able to take a few herself. I even apologized for a couple of the comments. Still though, you cant tell me that she had good intentions. She posted insult after insult and finally I said something back. If she wanted respect she wasnt exactly going about it the right way.

Trust me, it happens. A few of them have the infractions to prove it. But jill seeing this is out of the area Im not a fan of I want to take this moment again to apologize to you for my use of the C word against you. I know your dont care. You have made that clear. But I still feel like I want you to understand that apology was sincere despite our disagreements.

I was speaking of recent events in relation to the topic. I have not had any warnings or infractions except for one for language. The last one before that was over a year ago.

Childish retaliation was the motive then? Instead of being a grown man, and turning the other cheek...you felt the need to insult a woman and get up to your neck in a place you obviously had no business being in? Understand that you like other people can be abrasive especially when you start beating your "I like clone and Chinese homage knives " drum every chance you get. Especially on e same forum that those original manufacturers are also on. It's disrespectful to say the least. Akin to walking into someone's home, dropping a giant deuce on the floor and giving them a look like, "well, aren't you going to clean that up? Whatcha gonna do about it anyway?"

Just my opinion of the situation.

I warned you PurpleDC. Doesn't matter what the rules say doesn't matter what rights you have they honestly dont give two flying bacon slices if you are the worlds most interesting man or a $15,000 Bladeforums donators (beard attached and all): mods are here to keep the peace by any means necessary if that means banning someone even if they haven't broken rules. That's what they have to do.

Stay out of W&C, it's no place for anyone who takes anything seriously as Jill so appropriately mentioned.

Never took it the wrong way when people bashed me, and said all kinds of stuff. Sure I got hot headed for a day, who doesn't? To be honest they're just a "rough" bunch with keyboards with nothing but decent intentions, well except for Cougar which I honestly believe he posts all his funny material in hopes of getting someone fired from the workplace.

Again it would appear we have a disagreement. If you are going to say that my behavior which hasnt earned me a warning or infraction is going to earn me a banishment if I keep up with it that would appear as a threat to ban me if I dont fall in line with your idea of how I should be acting. Honestly Karda I dont think my "abrasive" attitude is the problem here. I think you dont like that I have an opinion that conflicts with yours. Because many people all day long are combative and argumentative on this forum including yourself. It would appear that if my opinion fell in line with your own ideals then I might not come under your radar as much. This forum is full of different personalities. Some easy going others not so much. But you seem to take a particular interest in shutting me up. So it would appear its not so much my behavior that is the problem but the opinion influencing that behavior. For you to sit there and say im going to get banned if I keep up "my current behavior" yet you have people calling me expletives outside whine and cheese, and others with no authority of their own trying to tell me where I can and cannot post. That was who my comment was aimed at. People with no authority themselves who feel they have the right to tell me where I can and cannot post and about what topics. Many of your friend Karda are just as quick with the tongue as I am and are just as combative. The only difference is you find their opinion more favorable than mine. What Im getting at is equality. I dont believe you moderate with that in mind. I think your quick to shut people down when you dont share their opinion and very laxed with people you do.

Despite what you may think I dont have a problem with authority. I respect Moderators like Gollnick. He has tact. And while me and him dont see eye to eye on almost anything he observes and doesnt try to use his authority to influence what people will and will not say. Of all the moderators it would seem you are the only one that I bump heads with consistently. Why is that? If my actions were as bad as you seem to think they are why has no action such as infractions or warnings taken place? Is that not how a person on the forum is to learn they are being out of line? You really look at all the people on this forum. All the personalities. Many people operate very similar how I do. They have strong opinions and will defend them. I think your real problem with me is what my opinions are and that they conflict with your own.

The issue your talking about was in whine and cheese. A thread got moved there and once there Jill made comment after comment about me and I responded to her prodding. Why do I have no business in that forum? You do also realize whine and cheese is pretty much the definition of childish retaliation? Its definitely no where the have a serious conversation. And as others have told me if you cant take an insult you probably shouldn't post there. Is she now granted special treatment in that forum when she is obviously casting the first stone? Like others have said its whine and cheese, its to be expected. As far as disrespectful cloning issue goes there are plenty of USA based companies stealing designs and trademarks all the time. None of which are really shown in a negative light. And many times people are discouraged from talking about those issues. I dont waive a flag for counterfeiting. I dont care for it just as much as the next. I simply have a different opinion of what a counterfeit is. So I wouldnt say its akin to walking in someones house, dropping a duece and asking them to clean it up but rather walking into the house noticing the duece is all ready there and being allowed to bring attention to its existence and debate it origins. Some people simply cant touch the subject unless its pure hatred. I dont take that position.

Yes you did. All of your closed threads are proof.

Also, a lot of people are not hot headed. Like the mods, who are quite patient and understanding but are firm and will keep the peace as well. The reason you two are "hated" here is because you both have that "Haters gonna hate" attitude.
I will hate, but I see you two say you won't care.
But obviously you will care, since you keep up the fight.





On another note: this thread is just ridiculous. You deserve to get banned, and no sympathy will be thrown your way
(especially after complaining 24/7)

I don't care what you called me in W&C, I called you crap you responded. Who cares? Stop acting like it matters because you need to learn it doesn't. You also need to learn to stop acting like you can talk this crap about clones anywhere here and not find people here that don't agree. We have little choice about where so much we buy comes from these days, knives are a passion and a hobby, we don't care to indulge it with copied clones, we don't even have to own them to get by. You don't get that, maybe you'll learn, maybe you won't, the ball is in your court.
