Ti/Carbon Fiber S90v Military sale

Mine has really begun to smooth out. It is so tempting to pick a second one up.
After playing with mine over and over, I am now understanding the second purchase.... This knife is on another level. I went back and forth between my cru-wear mili and this one, and it's almost like a completely different knife. I love my cru-wear, but I am blown away by the ti-carbon.

I don't think I'm gonna wait. I really love the 204P w/ dark green G10. I may buy another soon.

I bought one (204p) when it was on sale @ $175. Just that with the upcoming BladeHQ DLC M4 PM2 on my plan and already bought a backup s90v cf/ti Military, I'll feel guilty to my wallet if buying another 204p right away.

You tell that guilt to suck it.

I'll be buying either one or two more 204P's by tomorrow. Plus I'm seriously considering a WE Zeta purchase too. So don't feel bad.

what's so good about 204p, isn't it comparable to s90v
204p is basically m390. So it has better corrosion resistance for people that will want to edc it. Slightly tougher (subjective to your uses) and slightly easier to touch up and sharpen. Also takes a really nice polish. Wont clear as much cardboard as s90v but what you give up in edge retention you get back in other attributes so its really up to what you want in a user.

Okay I am motivated to buy one of these after much thought. I've never had any blades in S90v before. Will diamond sharpmaker rods be enough to keep it sharp ?

Well there is one less of these out of the 150 that were still available at last count. I can't wait for this one. I was going to get the KW exclusive Griptilian in M390 but this appeals more to me.

Standard sharpmaker stones and a leather strop have kept mine hair popping sharp. Just dont let this joker get so dull that you have to totally reprofile it. The working edge that has remained on mine after it loses that hair popping edge is still extremely sharp and seems to last forever

Dammit! You guys! I just ordered my second. Ha ha

In all honesty, this knife has so much value at this price. A couple years from now, people that passed on this offering will be lusting after this Military.

If the size of the blade is not any objection, this is the best folder sub $200 which money can buy. Those who are currently procrastinating for whatever their reasons will be regretful when this is all gone because it seems to me that KW is just holing it at this price point to just sell out whatever Qty is left.

Agreed. It’s $25 more than plain Jane millie but has: s90v, titanium, and carbon fiber. Each of these upgrades alone worth $20! Plus 3 of the ones I got are perfect(haven’t checked the last 2 I ordered.

If KW discounts the 204p to $150, I will buy another one as a backup :p

I bought 3 at $169, at $150 it’s a steel, even at $179 it’s $5 more than the s30v, and has better g10 finish as well! I’m waiting for theKW exclusive m390 contego to drop $20 as well!

I hope so, I have a user and backup, keeping the other 3 for trades!

I wouldn't feel badly equipped with either. Ankerson found S90V performed above M390 in his real world tests. With the Military specifically (# cuts 5/8" rope):

S90V - 460 - Military - 60 RC
M390 - 380 - Military - 61 RC

My EDC Military is a frankenMillie that's made up of the Ti lock-side scale from the original KW CPM-M4 Ti/G10 Military, an orange G10 scale from the sprint, and an M390 blade from the CF M390 sprint. S90V would cut longer but at that level, who notices? I still think Spyderco does S90V especially well and was very glad to see KW sponsor this knife.

FWIW, the blade on my S90V is more perfectly ground and finished than the one on my CTS204P, but the latter has the best factory edge I've ever encountered (both the most recent KW-sprints). My green CTS204P has see a decent amount of use opening packaging (boxes and paper ream wrappers) and is still sharper than my brand new S90V, which itself is very, very sharp.
