Ti/Carbon Fiber S90v Military sale

204p is my favorite liner lock Military, but for overall asthetics, the S90V takes the win
I hear ya. It's hard to beat the beauty of the CF/Ti combo. Especially on a knife as handsome as the Military.

But the sound of the opening "thwack" of my 204P Military blows away the sound of my S90V/CF/Ti Military. I love a nice loud THWACK. Haha.

I love the S90V/Ti/CF Military as much as everyone else. But as great as this knife is , I have to admit that I enjoy my 204P Military just as much. Love them both.

Both outstanding KW Exclusive Militaries.

So you are saying I NEED both of these  :D

I had considered doing a blade swap on one of them for a 204p blade.
im trying this as well, like Riz said the aesthetics of this military are unbeatable but i already have a couple blades in s90v and none in 204p/m390. I do miss the corrosion resistance of m390 and 204p is basically the same steel. If anyones interested, be on the look out for a green scaled s90v frankenmillie on the exchange in a few days :D

Hi all,i want to make a positive comment about Knifeworks.about a week and a half i bought a C36CFTIP for $239,95 and now i see they are for sale at $199,95!i did sent a message to Knifeworks and right away they asked me my order # to make a refund for the difference ($40!),GREAT trustworthy dealer and more than good enough to keep buying from them!RESPECT!
That is amazing. Ive always liked that company.

Long time spyderco fan...first one was a endura around 1990! This is my first military!
Question...why is 50% lockup desirable?
BTW...mine is perfect!

Check out post #145 in this thread.

I didn't realize they were one and the same. Does the clip not spin or anything? Also, what clip did you use? Did the brad holder and button head screw come from the hardware store or elsewhere? That grinding is very perfect looking. Not sure I could accomplish that with the tools I have on hand.

I got distracted the past few days with my new ZT0462 but i'm back to the KW Millie, it simply cannot be beat for my EDC use. I wish these would sell out so i'm not forced by this thread to buy my 4th. I do want to get another 204p model as well to blade swap it with a new CQI Ti Millie.
Todays lineup.

I did the same mod to my TiCFs90v. The clip can be tightened very snugly thanks to the lanyard tube. Any snag that would rotate it would have bent it if "fixed" in place.

Anywhere from 25-50% lock up is desireable because you know the lock-up is secure, but has plenty of space to significantly wear in and not cross over to the 90-100% zone. The great thing is that the steel lockbar insert can be replaced if the lock wears in to that point.

Ive obsessively opened and closed mine to break it in, to play with and to actually use. Easily thousands of openings. Its worn in to about 60% and stopped

Mine has really begun to smooth out. It is so tempting to pick a second one up.
