Ti/Carbon Fiber S90v Military sale

I received my second one today. This is actually the 3rd one I have handled, but the 1st one went back due to a crazy stiff action. I could hardly open it, when I adjusted the pivot, I had blade play.

This one has a centered blade, the action is fantastic

I made a note to have the blade centering and action checked. They listened and I have a perfect specimen

damn it, I resisted for 5 days, even bought some other cheaper knives to satiate my desire, I'm now officially $400 poorer, almost $600 poorer but I was able to hold back a little at the last minute lol

That some good self restaint. As I was holding my 2nd one and admiring how perfect it was, fleeting thoughts of a 3rd, 4th, and 5th entered my mind.....

Because with a limited edition knife that will soon be sold out , it's nice to have a user and one to keep safe and perfect.

Most of us don't just "use" knives. We use , carry , collect , adore and obsess over them. At least , that's what I do.

How big is your knife users club? :D

Got mine - the 2nd one is going straight into the safe. This is the first time I buy the exact same knife twice! :D

It is a great knife... Why do you guys buy backups? Just in case you lose one?

Exactly. As I have tried many folders, my checklist gets longer and longer for what determines if I keep a knife.

It maybe something as simple as a pocket clip I dont care for, or the way a knife feels in a certain grip.
Now I keep a knife that is a great cutter, is comfortable, appeals to me visually, easy to open/close one handed and there cant be anything that annoys me about it.
This military and my zt 0450 are it for now. I can easily replace the zt, but this one I can not.
I love the titanium frame lock coupled with the carbon fiber, the s90v is just a cutting machine, so the thought of losing this knife in the coming years was bothering me. I take really good care of my treasured material things, but stuff happens.
It's a little weird just having a backup sitting on the safe, but it is reassuring as well.

Just wondering... I was trying to convince myself not to get a double of the same knife, but you guys aren’t helping! I think I’ll have to grab another

Same reason for me. Because they usually dont ever make a second run of an exclusive/sprint, I would be super pissed if this knife was lost, damaged beyond repair or stolen. So I bought two. Been using the heck out of one and the other is in the box waiting patiently for the off chance it needs to replace the first one. If Spyderco ever produces my dream Military (CPM 3V with the same or similar handle set up) then I know the LNIB that I have in reserve can be sold to help fund the dream version.

Haha same here. I , too , would be super pissed if anything happened to mine and I didn't have a back up. Just an awesome knife.

First Millie and first time I held a Millie will be when mine arrives. Tracking says it will be here Tuesday.

I love the S90V/Ti/CF Military as much as everyone else. But as great as this knife is , I have to admit that I enjoy my 204P Military just as much. Love them both.

Both outstanding KW Exclusive Militaries.

204p is my favorite liner lock Military, but for overall asthetics, the S90V takes the win
