I'm in! I know its last minute. Thanks for the GAW, very generous.

I don't have any pics of my worst knife, a CRKT M16-12Z from 12+ years ago.

Dumbest things I've done with a knife? Succesfully picked a lock with the shark tooth tip of my original SOG Pentagon Elite (pre-arc lock).

When I was in high school, my work gave away (to me) one of those promotional cardboard stand ups (Nascar driver) and I stupidly through knives at it in the back yard. I lost 5 knives that way into the forest. Also taped ketchup packets to it and shot it with my pellet gun.

Dumbest thing I ever did was when I first started out sharpening knives with a belt system. Had to re-profile a blade that was very thick. In my hurry, I accidentally ground off part of the blade opening pivot stud. Reduced it to about 1/2 its original size as well as put a bad angle on it. Had to replace the part.

Yikes, just saw how close I am cutting the deadline, but I'll try.
Worst knife I ever bought was a set of two complete mall-ninja throwing knives on a wrist sheath. I worked at a late night doughnut shop and walked to and from my apartment to the shop (freshman in college) and spent all night trying to get it to stick in anything. Those knives bounced off everything I threw them at. I just found them tonight and gave them to my 6 year old daughter who likes having her own set of knives like dad now. Ha! Good thing is, they were so dull, it will be impossible for her to hurt herself with them. Seriously, a spoon would be more dangerous.

Geez, where to begin? Crap steel, totally mall ninja design, heavy and unwieldily in the pocket, with no clip, poor balance, came with a junk holster... All around bad decision for the purchase of this knife which incidentally, came out of a catalog from the late 90's. I still have it though as a reminder...

Also, my brother-in-law just got a 940BK and it would really grind his gears for me to show him up with the one offered here! :p

Wow! Thank you, Aaron and BladeMerchant folks.

That 940 BK with anodized blue back-spacer sounds like a beautiful knife. I am VERY surprised and delighted that I actually won. I hope that your business will expand and prosper.
Again, I am very grateful for this super prize. I think it's really neat! I'm temporarily in shock and loving it.
best regards,
