I dont have any clue what most that stuff is, or how to use it LOL... But it looks interesting either way :D

Mean old women are the funniest. They should make a new show like golden girls, but all 4 of them be mean as hell... Wouldnt really need any plot at all either.

All kinds of goodies Bladite. Gotta love the old tools.

That hatchet looks awesome tw.

No clue, but the folks who made the awesome meat sticks were Green's Sausage House in Temple, Tx.

Actually, it's in Zabcikville, a small community about about 10 miles east of Temple. Has a Temple address because Zabcikville doesn't have a full blown PO. They have less than 40 people who claim Zabcikville as home, down from a high of 80 in the 50s. :D There's more people than that eating there on any given day.

OK, since y'all are on a roll, maybe you could tell me what these two are. I think the brass handled one is some sort of slitting gauge, but the offset spokeshave/rabbet thingy I'm not 'zackly shure

brass handled job is a type of strap cutter called a draw gauge.

eta: I knew I had seen the other tool once -- it's a cobbler's edge shave, AKA a Heel Shave or Sole Shave.

yeah, i was about to say that :>

you feed in a big circle of leather, and you make straps on wide, and leather string on narrow, and thongs in between ;) good find.

tandy sells something like that for making your own leather lacings... it's a simple block with a knife. nothing like that.

the other guy... mmm, could be an offset-rabbet shave? for scribing the centers of staves, or maybe violins?

The draw gauge I never would have guessed - mine has a significant amount of wear on the bearing surface. I'm thinking that thing probably cut a LOT of leather.
As for the cobbler's heel shave, that makes sense now that I know what it is. the two guides or fences just didn't make sense for woodworknig.
Thanks, Vik.
