Titanium Frame lock WIP and introduction

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Dalibor, great pics and updates as usual. I don't know if he still has one available but you guys are crazy not to jump on it. Sell something and make it happen. If you're waiting on him to make the smaller one then do like I'm planning and get both. You won't be sorry.

I do like the slotted head. Did the old machinist have a change of heart and stopped being so obderate?

The question I have is what the heck is going on with that eye-hole protrusion on the end of the frame? My guess is that it holds the blade open while the lock is fitted or something. Seems like a big extra step but I have faith you know what you're doing so I'm just curious.

Thanks

thanks Mark!!!

haha..yes the machinist came through for me..hes really old but his knowledge is very impressive!!!

as for the eye hole protrusion , you're absolutely right!!! holds the blade open (exactly where i want it to be) so i can fit the lock and helps to make the jimping align better :)

i just finished up this od green / black g10 handle...it's the first one i 'profiled'
over the weekend i'll make clips, polish and orange peel the frames..

The screws seem to be recessed a lot deeper than you've been doing and since there is always a method to your madness I'm wondering why so deep on countersinking. Then again maybe it's just my imagination.

hahaha Mark you notice every little thing :)

yes i recess them a bit more as the Ti frame on these is 1mm thicker..and it looks cooler

here's a few better pics of OP...today i hand rubbed the blades...went through 6 of them , so tomorrow another six..every time i get to this part i keep saying to myself no more 3v steel..i don't need this...but once everything is done i come to my senses :D
