Tom Pettit Jr. Scammer - stay away

This is unfortunate. One helpful lesson here is that not all feedback is created the same, and that users should be more careful when trading, as there is a lot more risk for trades than for sales given that two parties have to ship and the most spectacular GBU blowups are often over trades. Anyone remember the Sebenza rock?

That right there is an easy way to tell who not to deal with! I'm thankful for members who do this self selection...

Why anyone would deal with a member who is afraid to easily show what they are doing here is beyond me.

Gotta say, I'd never do a trade with someone who's got to resort to shady tactics like that.

People restrict their profiles for what is their own business. The two are not correlated. Some people restrict their profiles because people began trolling them and trying to gather personal info. Some do it just because.

In fact, I’ll bet the list of confirmed scammers with hidden profiles is probably a statistically minuscule amount. I come across people in the exchange with hidden profiles all the time. Doesn’t mean they’re scammers.

1.) Despite it being a dream of yours, I challenge you to show where I’ve defrauded anyone on this forum.

2.) I’m not defending anyone, I’m contributing a logical look at why people hide their profiles, and it usually has nothing to do with “being a scammer”. But nice try.

So how long are you going to push this? Until a mod slaps us around and says “take personal gripes elsewhere”? That’s your typical M.O.

1. I don't dream about you at all. Secondly, it's actually hilarious to me how you've misread my comment so badly.

2. You definitely are here defending this bum who can't seem to afford good knives (or who has the finances available to sort out someone he defrauded), so he's constantly chasing people begging to trade. You'd think with all his trading experience, he'd know better than to move knives along that don't officially belong to him (because the deal wasn't done). But nice try.

I am not pushing anything. I just found it ironic that we have a dude who hides his profile, defending a guy who hides his profile, after having defrauded another member. Definitely didn't see that coming. :D

Again: Show where I’ve defrauded people. I have my profile on restricted, and you seem to be making the assertion that there’s a strong correlation between frauds and hidden profiles.. so.. step up to the plate and prove I’m a fraud.

Now, is this the part where you cry about me “following you around” again, despite my several comments within this thread before you showed up? Damn, I’m good. 😎

I think what shocks me is that you seem to clearly need it explained that I'm not referring to you. So, I'll use small words. You (Kenneth) are someone who hides their profile because you (mistakenly) think your posts can't be tracked*. and yet are in here defending someone (Tom) who has defrauded a member here, and who ALSO hides their profile. Insane that I had to explain this to another adult.

I mean, I'm laughing over here behind my keyboard that you're failing so badly at this. I think we're done here. LOL


* A shame you don't realize how untrue this is.

Well, all I can say is I won't be doing any business with Mr. Pettit. When you misrepresent a knife as new - and you know it's not - that's an obvious character flaw. It appears here - he has done that twice - on the same knife. How can you defend that? Then he sells or mods the knives before the other party gives the thumbs up for trade completion - not right. He then takes the position or "take it or leave it" when he is wrong, not good. Craps on other's threads. Won't even pony up for a membership. Get's caught and then hides his profile. that kind of sums it up no?

How does he post in the exchange with no membership ?

That is why he reply spams every ad, he can't start his own thread.
