On 12-28-13 I posted an ZT 0888 fore sale here.
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1139204-Zt-0888
On 12-31-13 I got a P.M from Tony deuce (Anthony) saying he would like to buy the knife. He said he was in England and asked if I would ship it to him there. I told him I'd never shipped anything international and needed instructions on how to ship and for him to pay for it. He agreed and sent me instructions and the money to my Paypal. I shipped the knife on 1-2-14 tracking # 420001220000999320. My mistake was listening to the lady at the post office she said she could save me a few dollars I said it was an important package and as long as it got there I didn't care.

I'm going to skip a few months of emails (which I still have all of) I felt terrible he "did not get his knife" because I felt like I made a mistake in shipping he came up with splitting the cost. I thought it sounded fair but I was short on cash so I sent him another knife (value$250) and I sent $150 by Paypal.

Skip a few more months and Tony deuce posts an 0888 for sale here. At first I thought no way he would do that. So I sent him a P.M. asking for a pic of the knife with the Serial number. He said to never contact him again he lost hundreds on the deal and put it behind him. So I did,but I also contacted the member who bought the knife (Cerucker) he has been great and stayed in contact with me the whole time. I asked Him to tell me the serial number of the knife when he got it, it's # 137 the same knife in my post! And I also have lots of pictures of the knife and the shipping container.

I know I'm never going to get my money back I just don't want him to rip off someone else here. If any of you guys have any advice for me please contact me.

Thanks,
Ron

Wow. This set of circumstances would make him a liar, thief and soft in the head. To steal a serialized knife, from a knife enthusiast, then sell said stolen knife on the same community of knife enthusiasts where you stole it? There are words for that kind of genius. So all said and done you're out roughly $400, correct? For the additional knife and funds you sent him? I'm afraid I have no advice to offer as far as dealing with this situation and it being international, but definitely send him a link to this thread. I'd love to hear what he has to say about this.

File a claim with Paypal, if nothing else you could get him booted off of their service. If you have the serial number recorded you could really jam him up and maybe recoup some of your money. Maybe call the local police in jolly olde England and see if they want to know about his character. If nothing else it could provide them with an MO if he has done similar things with his countryman.

I am betting he will have nothing to say! Thanks for posting this to save others problems.

Clanton buddy I feel awful for you bro!! You should post his info here so it shows in future Google searches and before he gets banned! I don't think even The Queen can save this guy this time. Your proof is pretty concrete and final in my eyes!!

His IG username is Rock_your_blade I sent him link of this thread there as well!

Damn it he just went private but you could see your knife in his pics. I was too late to take a screenshot of it when I went back to it!

Thanks guy's. Yeah I'm out about $400 and I emailed him and the new buyer a link to this thread.

The buyer is currently violating the law by receiving stolen merchandise too. I think he might be obligated to turn the knife over to you or face legal consequences for keeping a stolen knife.

That is not why I started this! The buyer has helped me with everything I asked of him, he had no idea Anthony was a thief! I posted this in hope that no one else would get ripped off and to get him banned from here. I'm ok with losing the money life lesson.

I didn't think that you were pushing that but I'm afraid legally it is probably true. I don't think anything would come of it but the fact remains that it is stolen and the new owner knows it. I wonder if he could file a claim through how ever he handled the payment method and transfer the money to you?

I don't think that would work to the benefit of the new buyer. He would either have to return the knife to this tonydouche thru PP claim to get his money back or a credit card claim will require an investigation thus confiscating the knife as stolen property to beging with. He might get the money back thru the credit card tho since he posses the item but would have to give Clanton the money for the knife thus loosing the money and knife. Tough position! I take my hat off to you Clanton tho

It makes total sense now why he didn't post pics of the serial number in his sale thread. Usually people selling ZTs want to show a pic of the serial number....it is part of their collectable fact.

He has a very strong feedback in the UK forums....shame he is throwing all that hard work down the drain for just this!
