...Well, how was it?

After having about 48 of them(lifetime, not just tonight), I can tell you it's a great beer! The organic, I believe is just a selling point. I love stouts, this one is one of my favorites. It has zero artificial taste. It's just like drinking a cold cocoa, without the fake flavor.

Ever since I got my Skystorm 9 Hawk sheath I have been into leather. Everything I buy is leather!

Sounds tasty. My local beer store carries some Samuel Smith's, but I haven't noticed that one yet. Will definitely look for it next time I'm there.

Just poured a glass of La Fin du Monde.

By the way, Nice Title.:D

Just got back from family stuff, for some reason I need a beer. Trade, this one's for you!

You cruel, cruel, tease!
One of those Sammy Smith's paired with some super spicy Indian food would reaaaallly hit the spot.

When does Moose usually announce the winner of the contests? I see that the contest thread is closed but a winner was never announced.

Phone needs chopped in half. Maybe with a BK9..... Only after my upgrade of course, so probably in April.

I been looking at this Hellcat ruck mod. I been thinking about it for a WHILE now. I just wish I could find the pieces in black. I have NO clue where to even start looking though.

Huck Finn do what?! That's a new one by me, got a pic? Phone's getting screwy or maybe I'm getting buzzed. I just cracked open a Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, not buying any more of these. If it's free, sure, but never paying for another. Thanks!

Also, try the Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout. Good gracious, a contender for beating Founder's Breakfast Stout.

Good luck! You could always dye them. Just got off the phone with my buddy that bought a Hellcat a while back, loves it!

Where do you think he'll announce? I'm just wondering because it looks like he closed the thread. Maybe he just closed it so no one else could enter and he'll re-open it to announce the winner.

He'll announce it in the contest thread. When, who knows? Could be today, could be a week or two. Stay tuned.

It is a Canadian "Trappist" Ale. I nice change from my usual stouts.

I've seen their Oatmeal Stout at the store. Saying that it is like Founder's has definitely got my attention.

Interesting.

If you like Chocolate Stouts, you should try Rogue's Double Chocolate. Expensive, but probably my favorite so far.

I have not had the best luck with dying stuff. I tried dying a tweener sheath, and yeah... Went from "I want black", to "I have a kind of grey-ish tan"

RB, that sucker is big!! What's the steel?

Sorry for the delay, work work work. The steel is CPM-M4. It's supposed to be like the super version of D2, easier to sharpen but better edge retention, slightly better corrosion resistance (though it can still rust). That's just the hearsay, I haven't had it long enough to validate. THOUGH, I did purposefully leave it in my bathroom while I took a long hot shower to see if the steam corroded it. Didn't wipe it after and just put it in my pocket, it was really steamy in there. Checked it at the end of the day and no spots or anything along edge.

It is pretty big, but is carries REALLY well for it's size. If you're in the market for a tactical folder with great features I'd say check it out. I don't know if you can see from my pics but it has a carbide glass breaker on the pommel, kind of neat. Been my EDC since I got it.

Cool. My experience with m4 is that it is less rust resistant than D2 and will actually patina pretty easily. It has been quite a bit harder to reprofile than my d2. It actually took me longer to reprofile a 3.5" folder than a 5" fixed blade.
