So, I got a package yesterday from RogueBowie. It was AWESOME! Bottle of Limoncello and some paracord. I decided to use the cord to wrap my Izula. It's the only "neck knife" that I have that is Chicago-legal so I'm going to be carrying it when I go up there. So, I wrapped it in Bears colors.

I'm pretty happy enough with how it turned out.


With my Ash made Bears bracelet (which only leaves the wrist when doing dishes or showering)

great wraps on the izulas guys. I'm really diggin the team colors there too. I've got the micarta on my II at the moment, but i played around with wraps for a while.
 
Just found my long lost opinel No.4 I'm honestly amazed that the thing still shaves hairs off my arm after sitting in the hinge of my safe door for 2 years.

Thanks GandB. I'm a BIG time Bears fan. I got 2 Payton jerseys (1 to wear, 1 to show), I'm getting a 54 and a 90 and a 33. Much love for the Defense. I'm still trying to find a "reasonably priced" Perry jersey but I doubt that will EVER happen.
 
I totally stole that wrap idea. It was DEFINITELY not something my "dinosaur brain" could come up with. I just had to deconstruct it before I could figure out how to do it.
 
Ofm4, check out the entry level Kahr (cw9, cm9?). Awesome ergos, super slim, and very reliable. XD9 sub-compact is another good option, but its not real slim. In the revolver world, I really like the S&W 442.

I measured 13" on the porch, but it blew around a lot so it's hard to say. Deeper in several places for sure. Made a 5' mound next to the cars...

Nice! Fun experiment, set your truck on fire to melt the snow and see if you have more than an 1/8th of the volume in water. Of course if your bed liner isn't any good or you have drain holes, it's just a waste and may seem silly.

I've got drain holes, but I'll try burning the lawn first.
