I seen it!! He kept telling me to be careful with it,, it was forged in a fire, and folded, made to last forever.. Possibly made in the 30's, survived WW2, and I guess he though since I don't handle high end knives much,, that I would drop it on the carpet and bust it,, I felt bad for holding it so long!!

Nothing made of steel will last forever. Heck, a century is a looonggg time for any steel object.
