Too big, too strong, too hard...

...another for the long weekend.

Showing too much of the grind!

I seen that too! That's two things that make me think it's an rj design. Guess we'll see!

You got me. I've read this thread-It had my name in it.

I'm as curious as the next guy to see what the brilliant minds at KERSHAW have concocted........

Lovin' it. I notice the bevel on the contact surface of the lockbar - proves that the folks are listening to feedback.

I like what I see.

Is that... Jewelled Titanium? Awesome. I already know I'll be getting one.. And the 0777 isn't even out yet.

I think the reason some (including me) people dont get excited about limited production knives is that many times they are 1. Expensive and 2. Sell out before some people can come up with the funds. I myself would have loved to get some of the past limited run knives but the second hand prices are too much for my wallet to bear. Im usually the type of guy who wont preorder on hype or lack of information. It takes a really really intriguing knife to get me to drop cash without any reviews or information. This is that knife.

Negative. If you want a knife that badly, then as you say, you can preorder it. What exactly is the big deal with a preorder? If it turns out to be pure "hype" using your wording just sell it to someone that wants the knife. It's not like you'd be losing anything. On the other hand, Kershaw probably makes more knives that fit ANY budget than any other company to dayte. They have something for everyone. Why hate on this one? I don't see it.

(not so much the part about hype)

So what you are saying is that bluejayburly and I figured it out! Teamwork(high five!)! There should be some kind of prize for that!

If anything, he's doing the opposite of "hating" by saying that he's going to preorder this knife and break his usual routine.

Hopefully the prize will be something with a rampage grind and as many to go around as people that want them.

The limited production pieces are great and I think anyone would jump at the chance to get every single one.

Honestly I've missed some I've wanted. Gotten some I thought I did n let go. And had to hunt down ones I wrote off until I found out more info.

Being limited production makes for expensive high tech materials, but they also play hard to get. It draws a line in the sand between the men with strong trigger fingers and the girly men without.

The thing is I think 4" is my legal cutoff too, but the way things are being revealed, I'm gonna have to get one even if I can only use it at home.

Thank you sir, would I be correct in assuming that you will be posting more pics and such once it is unveiled at BLADE? Thanks for the teasers, just makes me REALLY wonder what alloy this blade will be, as I think this is the collaboration, and from what you said previously, the in house design and the collab get the exotic new stuff. I am torn between ordering an 0561, and waiting to see what the LE version is all about, and waiting for the other 2 designs to become available. I may have to go without any of them though, as my wife got unemployed and decided she wants to go to school to be a Registered Nurse, of course I support her, and will have to make some cuts in the budget, as well as work more... blade funds will likely be going towards tuition instead!

There isn't one yet. We'll be debuting it at Blade...we'll have a model # then.

I agree with you on that one! I was just messing around, I don't ever expect things to ever be handed to me, I feel I need to earn them! All the excitement must be getting to me! I hope we are right from what we have seen, because it looks beautiful and monstrous! But I do believe my state cutoff is 4" also. It would be destined to be a safe queen for me. I really don't know how I would feel about that.

I'm all in for a big folder but if it's a rampage grind I'm out. It would look cool but would be much less practical. I'm not a recurve fan as it is of which the rampage grind is the incestuous offspring. Fingers crossed for a more favorable grind. I love the replaceable lock face/lockbar stop!
