I seen that too! That's two things that make me think it's an rj design. Guess we'll see!
Quoted for accuracy.the brilliant minds at KERSHAW...
Why not?
I think the reason some (including me) people dont get excited about limited production knives is that many times they are 1. Expensive and 2. Sell out before some people can come up with the funds. I myself would have loved to get some of the past limited run knives but the second hand prices are too much for my wallet to bear. Im usually the type of guy who wont preorder on hype or lack of information. It takes a really really intriguing knife to get me to drop cash without any reviews or information. This is that knife.

Negative. If you want a knife that badly, then as you say, you can preorder it. What exactly is the big deal with a preorder? If it turns out to be pure "hype" using your wording just sell it to someone that wants the knife. It's not like you'd be losing anything. On the other hand, Kershaw probably makes more knives that fit ANY budget than any other company to dayte. They have something for everyone. Why hate on this one? I don't see it.
There isn't one yet. We'll be debuting it at Blade...we'll have a model # then.Thomas can we please at least have a model #, so we know what to be looking for?

Hopefully the prize will be something with a rampage grind and as many to go around as people that want them.
The limited production pieces are great and I think anyone would jump at the chance to get every single one.
Honestly I've missed some I've wanted. Gotten some I thought I did n let go. And had to hunt down ones I wrote off until I found out more info.
Being limited production makes for expensive high tech materials, but they also play hard to get. It draws a line in the sand between the men with strong trigger fingers and the girly men without.
The thing is I think 4" is my legal cutoff too, but the way things are being revealed, I'm gonna have to get one even if I can only use it at home.
