Top Five Traditionals

Not counting the little Vic Rambler that lives on my keychain, these are probably my top five carry traditionals currently--but the alox SAK is carried far more than the others. I think I prefer the Pioneer, but this past year I've been carrying a Cadet more often, and just very recently an Electrician.

These five slip joints find their way into my pocket most often. There's no rotation, just what I pick for the day. No rhyme nor reason.
There's almost always a small sheath knife and a modern too.

What is the knife on the far left?

That's an A.G. Russell Pinched Peanut. The secondary blade is a little Wharncliffe. It's VG-10 and Mammoth Ivory. It's probably my favorite peanut sized knife.
Yeah, that AGR of yours has cost me a number of hours in the past looking for such a knife for myself! It's an incredible looking little knife, and I admire it every time you post it! I found a nice amber bone Case that is fairly flawless that has quelled that need... for now... :D

So, I pick out five and realize I could easily add five more, then five more and ...

But it's the five most used/carried... not favorites.
That should be definitive when you look at your knives.

With me it's a top two. Everything else is an also-ran.

Yes, they have to be in plain sight.

The cool thing is the law makes no mention of size for fixed blades. It's true that you can't stick a sgian dubh in your hose, but OTOH it's perfectly legal to walk around with a 17" khukuri on your belt.

I got mine off the Exchange a few years ago, at a nice price. I feel very fortunate to have snagged it. It's a really well made little knife.

It's more specific than that. The knife needs to be suspended from the waist while legally open carrying it. One couldn't legally open carry using say a shoulder holster or a calf holster (with shorts):
