Top Five Traditionals

Don't be afraid to use those knives once in a while. ;):D

These 5 seem to me to get the majority of the time in my pockets . Since I got the Old Stag Pruner , it has been in my pocket more than any other . I will usually have it plus one of the others shown . I have quite a few others to choose from , and often do , but these 4 seem to get the most of the time. In order to get Carry Time , they need to have a good work blade and I have found that for what I do , that I much prefer the Sheepfoot or Lambfoot blades . I like the looks of the Clip & Drop Point more , but not for working . I like to carry the Old Stag Pruner , just because I can and sometimes I use it .

Top Down Blades //// Old Pruner , Lambfoot , Sheepfoot , Lambfoot , and Lambfoot
Top Down Brands //// Unknown , TEW , TEW , TEW , and Waynorth Cutlery .

I returned to traditionals about 14 months ago, and I don't use knives as much as I did years ago. It's going to take some time for wear use to make a good appearance on most of my knives. As of today, I'd have to say the five that have seen the most carry are below: SAK Camper from 1984 (L) and Case Bose Tribal Lock pocket worn jigged bone (R), top-to-bottom LionSTEEL CK01 Shuffler in green G10 and Roundhead in olive wood, and Boker Barlow Expedition in brass and green canvas micarta.

My top five most carried traditionals: GEC 93 Ramsfoot, M&G Texas Ranger, GEC 86 Oil Field Jack, Lionsteel Dom, and Vic Electrician.

Most days the Ramsfoot can be found in my pocket along with the Electrician.

These are beautiful Harry. They also answer the question of "Can one ever have too many lambsfoot knives?" with a definitive no.

Finally some sunshine this afternoon - I could get a decent photo of my five most carried pocketknives. It was a toss-up between a couple of these and a couple of others, but they were near twins anyhow. Three medium Stockman knives, a medium Whittler, and a medium Serpentine Jack. I think "medium" is the operative word. OH

While I enjoy clip points and spears to a certain extent, the Ramsfoot is my favorite, complimented by the oily creek bone covers.
