I have three Trappers. Two of them are users and the other one (not pictured, yet) is my only (!!) safe queen I own. I gonna show it off later
all blades closed
The Mini Trapper is made of SS - it takes a great edge, good HT by Case. It was the very first traditional slippie I ever got.
The Trapper is made of CV and it was my first Case in CV.
Please ignore the other blades, I don't have a pic of just the trapper. My buddy gave this to me when he left for college. I don't really like the looks of the mark scale and do not have too much of a use for this blade configuration, but I want to give it a chance in my pocket today. Who knows, maybe I will warm up to trappers this month...
This 25th Anniversary Trapper made by Böker in Solingen is the only safe queen I own. It has carbon steel blades (well oiled) and micarte scales. What a great knife.
They were limited to 600 worldwide (300 pcs Europe, 300 pcs USA). It was for their 25th anniversary in the US, where they have Böker USA. At that time were several limited runs around, made by Böker, Solinger. I decided to buy a Tapper. I believe, it was last year, but it could have been already 2010.
I got #225 of 300
(I already posted this somewhere on BF, but at that time, I couldn´t handle my camera as good. So I took some new pics of it)
If these GEC Pioneers and Scouts count as trappers, then I'm going to attest that my Queen Mountain Man is a single blade locking trapper. It's with me again today, as per usual!
