Cool shots, Doug! I like this one the best. The edge on the leak is the brightest to my eye in this shot. Looking through all the knife photos I have ever seen I always prefer the shots that show the edge bright. The edge is the purpose of the knife and IMO it should be "highlighted" as such.

I am shocked that I have yet to post in this thread, I was sure I had! There are some great combinations seen here, a few now reside in my group shots folder. As for my contributions....

Hiking group: Crawford survival staff with custom shepherds hook, the neck knife I made for my wedding (Black Tyr Knives), my WharnKris that I designed and Alan Davis made for me, and a glow in the dark SAK that I got on BF, but forget from who:

Hiking group two- Elishewitz Kaiser, wedding necker, survival staff and SAK electrician plus:

The Rosewoods- John Lloyd that I got from DougAdd, and a Black Tyr gentlemans buckskinner:

WharnKris, Spyderco Spin and Pearl Lobster that used to be my EDC:

Now my EDC is the WharnKris and an Imperial I found at a garage sale for $1:

An interesting shot to me- each of these knives weigh within one gram of each other- I was surprised to see how heavy some of the slipjoints were when compared to the clipped folders:

Finally my top five custom folders- Tham, Lloyd, Davis and Elishewitz:

What's that long, slender black handled one? Looks interesting... More info pls?

I've held off because I don't have a picture to post. I make sheaths and pouches for my knives. I have a large Buck Bantam and a Buck Stockman that I've had for 15+ years in a pouch. I have several knives I like, but I have a soft spot for Bucks.

A goodly pair.
